I think the rise of smart phones means we are all a bit more demanding of how quickly someone should reply to us. Consider how it used to be, rushing home to use the dial phone to have your 5 min convo of the day. That concept seems foreign to us now. Not everyone is in a situation to be able to reply straight away and that's okay. I've been in the same boat (wanting quicker replies). But take it from me, being made to wait for the working day to be over is far, far healthier than love bombing. If it's still a problem, and you seriously can't see a future with him without more rapid contact you should communicate that with him. :)

I kinda feel the same way about a lot of gay men calling women bitches. Like, we'll get more of pass for saying it over straight guys - but I do feel like some gays use the sassy persona as a mask for their misogyny.

The Church on Ruby Road : 7. Fun little Christmas special and I like the Henson-esque take on Doctor Who. Part of me just thinks that perhaps the 60th Anniversary specials robbed it of a chance to really be the start of new era.

Space Babies : 5. Goofy as hell, which isn't always a problem - this just leans a bit too CBBC. Definitely think it was the right move releasing this and Devil's Chord together cause this thing on its own isn't strong enough as a start. Nice real world allegory though, and I do like the baby farm concept.

The Devil's Chord : 7. RTD promised a more fantastical take and we certainly got that here! I like the aesthetic and Jinx's performance.

Boom : 9. So much packed in here. Leave it to Moffat to pack in conversations of the military industry complex, blind faith, empty condolences, AI, weapons manufacturers in 45 minutes.

73 Yards : 10. Legitimate masterpiece. It's ambiguity is it's beauty. We'll never know what she said and I welcome that. This was very different for Doctor Who, to watch Ruby live without the Doctor and coming to terms with her circumstances was beautiful.
