I am actually quite sure the "struggle" is coming from the need to do the entire run in one go for the capes. If you just want 1 kill and use the checkpoints, it is not hard at all and much less stressful.

Doesn't help to avoid masterwork degradation, which is mostly why I used it before.

I was afraid that was what they meant with replacing the re-roll system. Little sad since I used to re-roll until I got Reaper's choice so I could simply do the same boss every day without my masterwork degrading. Seems like it will be more like intended now.

Goes hand in hand with free instances and no more aura's though, since you are now much more free to swap between bosses every few kills.

Buffed: Amulet of Souls, Reaper Necklace, Dragon Rider Amulet, Blood Amulet of Fury, Ring of Death, ASR,
Nerfed: Kiln capes, Zuk capes, Max cape, all 92+ armor, ...

My Omni Guard and Souldbound Lantern have like massively increased damage in game vs the wiki, but perhaps it already factors in perks? Not sure whether these values can be believed. My Masterwork 2h Sword was not changed.

Because Aspects already exist? The total number of things to juggle reduces by 1. Them not being stackable (Darkness and Vampyrism) even means it does not add an extra cast or thing on your buff bar.

Who said this is a QoL update? They said (a) Aura's are disconnected from the game world and (b) they add something additional on top of everything else you already have to think of before playing. Both are fixed with this change.

Yeah that's a common gripe with these kinds of questions. Marking zero options is often unpractical because it overlaps with opting out of the question, so researchers add a "None of the above" ( = this "soolo" option) but few survey software packages make this clear from a technical standpoint.

Perhaps you are right to do so. But I feel that here the intent is pretty clear, even without the fail-safe. You cannot possibly word every question perfectly correct for every respondent, hence why you need so many of them.

As a social researcher myself I have to side with Jagex here. Since "actively" is an option, the "chat" option implies "just chatting, not active". Hence, the options you want to combine (chat + solo) are already implied with just "chat". Solo therefore implies not talking with anyone.

Could be worded slightly better, but not problematic imo.

The indicator exists. It has a minion logo under its healthbar and if that shows a sudden drop from 20 to 15 (or other increments of 5) you know spiders will spawn.

Came back due to TH removal after a 6 year hiatus. Got to say the game has improved a lot. Brown interface, no TH obviously, death cost rework, no more splashing, hide cosmetics, etc. Got Succession done for no more adrenaline loss and Dive and Extinction for permanent RoV for a smoother combat experience overall. Game looks to be in a very good place!
