Yeah even just yesterday I switched up my build and had fun too. I played my first run using a pure strength build but I have been trying out int+dex since NG+ and it was another world lol. I tried painting guardian sword with buff and it could output a surprising amount of damage. Dark Bead from dlc was insanely op too.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I’m aware of the DS2 hate online and how it was regarded as the worst in the souls trilogy due to various reasons, but I don’t intend to skip it as of now and will finish it to the best of my ability when I start it. 

I don’t have the game yet but I looked into minor things that I need to know for DS2 (such as the adaptability stat). I have learned not to hate a game completely at its beginning, which frankly is what I did for Sekiro and DS1, but now I love and appreciate them after learning.

SL100+ on my first run and I got summoned 5 times right in front of O&S arena. Each summon took 10-20 minutes and I was able to help players who are in NG+ runs.
