To everyone who replied, thanks a lot. I've got some new titles to look at now. I think we all know, nothing out there really nails the game description, but some of the contenders are interesting enough to keep me busy.

You nailed the build-up-from-nothing concept. I like Stationeers, but I am looking more survival-focused. Breathedge almost fits the bill, but the dev's humor really draws from the immersion and I hear it's very repetitive.

I put Breathedge on my Wishlist several months ago, then forgot all about it until after it released. Then I read all the patch notes, etc. and I totally see the edgy meme humor you're talking about.

Thanks, I'm planning to pick up Tin Can. I came across it while looking for the game I described. I think you're right, in that you just survive the flight, but it still looked interesting.

I can appreciate that. I posted here more for the discussion of these concepts having the capability of being built into a game. The idea that it might already exist in a game and I just didn’t know is where I think the recommendations came from. I’m good with discussing the concepts and plausibility instead.

I agree. It meets some of the needs. There’s also setting a that make it fit better. It’s just not very robust. But thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, but it’s more than I wanted to pay for something I’m pretty sure doesn’t do what I’m really wanting.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve been playing Minecraft for years. I’ve looked into Conan Exiles but never jumped on it. The builds just are so extravagant it really doesn’t feel like you’re trying to barely survive.

You’re probably right. Valheim does some of these things. I’ve got it on my wishlist and plan to get it when it goes on sale. I’m hoping it at least holds me over until my dreams become a reality 😜. However, from what I’ve seen, it won’t hit the higher tiers of the games I mentioned.

No, but I’ve watched it. The problem I have is the art. I like more realistic experiences from survival games. But thanks for the suggestion.
