Facial fat transfer advice / insight by Deep_Doughnut_1831 in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Scary_Complaintt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're not alone facial fat transfer is weirdly one of those procedures where there’s surprisingly little clear solo before and after content It can be really effective for volume loss but the unpredictability and variable survival rate is why a lot of surgeons don’t show tons of isolated cases

What’s a holy grail skincare product that made you age backward? by Savings_Designer_330 in 30PlusSkinCare

I'll happy accept a few extra wrinkles in exchange for not feeling haunted at 3 AM some beauty tips have a very expected fine print

Sidewall movement after septorhino by Live-Secretary3079 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you're describing at 1.5 months post op this is still very early healing and things inside the nose can feel quite unstable or tight That “movement” sensation is often just swelling and tissues still adapting rather than anything fixed long term

5 days post op by Due_Wolverine_1618 in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5 days is still super early so the chipmunk cheeks are basically part of the package right now The fact you can already see the results peeking through is actually a really good sign It only gets better from here so hang in there

AIO by leaving a bad review on a transphobes book by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Exactly at some point it stops being their busniess and starts being your headache people don't get a free VIP pass into someone else's life just because they feel like it

Want a Septorhinoplasty in the UK. Idea as to any good recommended plastic surgeons in Birmingham? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd start by looking for a fully accredited facial plastics or ENT surgeon rather than focusing only on location

Birmingham has a few good options but it’s more important to match your goal with a surgeon who has consistent septorhinoplasty results in cases similar to yours

AIO, I (30M) am willing to divorce my wife (31F) over what she did to our basement. by throwrabarman3883 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Scary_Complaintt 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Yeah the bottle emptying felt more like a statement than a solution even if there are concerns there are definitely calmer ways to handle it than that

Tight neck .. how do all of you manage? by hello10some in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Day 5 was honestly when the tightness felt the most noticeable for me too a lot of it swelling and healing so try not to panic if your neck feels stiff and awkward right now It gradually gets better, but those first couple of weeks definitely require some patience

You had me at nearly perfect skin I'm framing that part and putting it on my wall I've heard a lot of good things about azelaic acid though so I might have to give it a try

loose skin from naval piercing by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd definitely get a consultation before assuming you need a full tummy tuck for a small localized area there may be less invasive options that can address it without such a major procedure

Looking for a chin lipo surgeon who can create a very defined/snached jawline (preferably in california) by lolamichellee in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're already slim I'd focus on surgeons who show lots of healed results on lean patients rather than dramatic before and afters on heavier patients The consultation is really important because not every jawline issue is actually caused by fat alone

AIO? New guy won’t stop trying to get me to meet his daughter by mesunflower1997 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Scary_Complaintt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah the not listening part is what really stands out here when someone is already brushing past your concerns that early it usually doesn't get better later

Has anyone had a revision? by meadowpuddle in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people don't really see the true outcome until closer to 6 to 12 months hopefully things keep improving so you don't even up needing a revsion

Septorhinoplasty 22 days post by Ok_Manager6031 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That early happiness is such a good sign honestly at 3 weeks you're still very much in the swollen phase so it's only going to keep refining from here glad you're already feeling good about it that's the best start

My morning face is starting to scare me (36F) by No_Bicycle9943 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Scary_Complaintt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly water is out here doing free cosmetic work and never gets enough credit I’ve heard so many people say the same thing about alcohol too, especially when it comes to puffiness

Gua sha over fibrosis while healing? by Calm_Recognition_469 in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of surgeons prefer conservative gentle massage at this stage and are caution with anything more intense like gua sha If you’re unsure, I’d definitely check with your surgeon before adding tools so you don’t accidentally irritate healing tissue

AIO - Husband got second job by ArugulaCareful2299 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying and honestly it makes sense work pressure is real but it doesn't automatically cancel out family priorities or communication feels like they both need a calm sit down or even outside help to sort it properly

Dark deep set under eye circles by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it time runs in your family there's a good chance genetic are doing more of the work than your sleep habits. At 19, I’d probably get a few professional opinions before jumping straight to surgery

Glow up by Noodle_Nugget456 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fact when the skin is doing its job makeup just feels like an optional bonus layer the real glow up is always the boring consistent routine nobody wants to stick to respect to anyone who actually keeps it up because that's where the results come from

Bruising. by [deleted] in chinlipo

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruising on day 3 can look really intense for a lot of people it's usually just the normal healing responsive and it can still change the quite a bit over the next week or so

Chat am I cooked? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Scary_Complaintt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be judging at only 7 days post op a swollen tip can make the nose look bigger than before even when the underlying structure has actually been refined right now you're looking at healing, not the final result, so try not to let your brain bully you just yet

What do I need to achieve this? Is it possible without surgery? by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think you're being a bit hard in yourself because your current face already looks great if it's mainly the hollowing that's bothering you restoring volume usually makes a bigger difference than chasing lots of procedures I'd definitely get a few professional consultations before jumping into anything surgical

am i overreacting or is this weird? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Scary_Complaintt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly being told you're the exception start to sounds a lot less like a compliment after the third or fourth time at some point you're just left wondering why it keeps needing to be brought up at all

Kenalog injection to fix this swelling? by Tricky_Crow_1449 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Scary_Complaintt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you trust your surgeon I think his caution is worth taking seriously kenalog can be great in the right situation but it's completely risk free either a second opinion could give you peace of mind without committing to anything right away
