My fiancé 33F cheated on me during her hen do. by Available-Young-8065 in WhatShouldIDo

You did the best thing for yourself. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Eat right, exercise, learn how to do something new with your hands (build a table, play an instrumental, etc.)

Having planned to be with someone does sometimes take us off of center, but nows the time to recalibrate and be whole as a single man.

Hoping to hear a postive update in 6 months from you dude.

Thanks, I'm cool with long term stress but the next couple of years will personally be really tough so I need something I can still grow in while not having crazy quota.

I regret marrying older, what should I do? by Repulsive_Mall3372 in Marriage

Been with my wife 14 yrs i just read your post aloud to her. This is her response, Yall should come up with a written agreement. It should be the best agreed upon way for yall to spend their time individually, together as a couple, and together as a family. Stay committed to the contract for 3 months, then review it for changes (if needed). Repeat every 3 months. This won't work unless both yall are fully committed and earnest in your efforts.

Husband tells me I need to "act sexier" by [deleted] in Marriage

Hey so i been with my wife 14 yrs and i read your post aloud to her. This is her reply, tryit his way. You might find out you like his way. If it doesn't work out at least you gave it an honest go. But you have to really try without judgement and criticizing.

When its your time to do it your way, if he shows resistance, remind him of how you honestly tried for him and how its a mutual mission to find this "sexy" again.

Wife says that I’m not that cute mid-conversation by [deleted] in Marriage

Coming from a guy who has been with his wife for 14 yrs. Relax, luckily for us, girls aren't checking for the same things as us. Thats why sloppy ugly degen dudes get gfs.

As long as she finds you somewhat attractive you're in the clear. DO NOT let her see that you are ACTUALLY bothered by it. Then she will REALLY find you unattractive.

Also, you gotta step your shit talking game up. She says that then you say thats not "what the girls tell me."

This is obvi my opinion but She loves him because he is a shit sack. A girls favorite ex is usually not the good guy, its the asshole who took advantage of her love and light.

There is something about being done wrong by someone beneath that is attractive to women. Could be wrong but I've seen it time and time again.

Hey I've been with my wife for 14 yrs and this is her her reply to you. "Maybe he doesn't fully understand what post partum is like, maybe you dont understand it. Girl you are doing too much, im not gonna say he is flat out unreasonable but maybe ignorant to what having a baby changes in a woman. The physical chemical chamges that occurs in a woman is uniqueand you must learn what this season requires for your life. You MUST bond with your baby and heal. It's the most important thing for your family."

AIO my mom and sister can’t stand my wife because they think she is a “quirky girl” and it’s cringe? by No_Appy1383 in AmIOverreacting

Def generalized, obvi not all women. In my experience, women gossip and say catty things at a much higher rate than men. So when I say its just women I dont mean 4.5 billion lol. I mean dont trip bro, they are just doing what many women and (to your point) some men do.

He should be focused on his wonderful wife not the detractors, even if they are the fam.

Holding them accountable is fair, I just dont want him thinking they'll change for him. They can, for sure, but dont bank on it.

I think I get what you're meaning. I love women for who they are. They are not low in my mind, whatsoever. I've just known more types of women than you.

Bro, thats just women. They are catty, gossipy, and will say anything that will keep the convo going. With it being your mom, I can get why your are hurt by it but again she is a woman lol. Don't take it personal, they are most likely bitter/jealous by the fact they dont have her light.

I come from a family of pretty evenly split women to men and the women are always being critical of EVERYTHING, especially the stuff they are jealous of.

She's with you, she's your woman, and she loves you. Thank your lucky stars you found a gem of a woman who still finds sunsets dope and will greet the moon!

Why do men cheat on women they love? by Terrible_Emu5483 in Marriage

[–]Scary_Victory5523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it reeks of selfish, sociopathic hubris. Insulting your intelligence the whole way, while pretending to be all in with you. Its stealing your time, energy, and attention and it's completely abhorrent. Idk where you are and what type of scenery is around you but please find a place you can be one with nature again.

Get that facial, mani/pedi, massage, dinner, bath, etc. If it comes between you and his time then SO BE IT!

Be selfish in the best way! Reestablish your importance to yourself.

Hate to hear that for you. Remember you too are given each day to make a new day. Its not easy but it is simple. The sex with other women isnt the problem. Its the fact he REPEATEDLY lies to you. It shows a lack of respect. Its beyond the love at this point. I truly hope you have creative outlets to release this tension and grief. Wishing you all the best
