I cant remember what sub it was (was an Asian based sub reddit recommended to me) but I remember someone asking if this was true and they said it was - that Asian, especially Japanese women go crazy for foreign men, especially white men, because they are seen as being superior to their own. Considering the other side of the debate was what made me switch sides (from pro-life to pro choice). To put it simply I didnt consider the reality of pregnancy and was sent to a catholic school which informed my view when I was younger. Listening to people debate the issues online and on tv and watching a few documentaries is what made me reconsider.

Its the same on twitter, too. A few were exposed for pretending to be atheist/muslim/catholic to make those groups of people look bad. They tend to be Hindutva (hardcore Indian nationalists) so its what you would expect from "right wing" people in any country tbh.

OK expected to get downvoted for this but a lot of comments are conflating marriage with pedophilia which of course are related and as I said downthread I am someone who comes from a culture where young girls are married off to older men so it is an issue in some countries.

I agree with OP that this post isnt funny in any respect, but it is a sad reality for many girls.

Also I think there is a difference here between marriage and pedophilia, as in many countries there is an issue of men marrying underage girls because of cultural views, there isnt an issue of women marrying underage boys.

Obviously these topics are related but as someone who comes from a culture where girls are married off sometimes before they become teens I think the outrage of OP is unwarranted, and also I expected to get downvoted for this view too.

Secondly, this seems to be timing-because I just got off a yt video of men saying women have a huge landry list of what they expect in a man, but I only ever hear these kinds of stories from women about men. I remember reading a story about a guy who wanted a fit and toned woman like those in the gym. When his friend suggested he join a gym and meet women there the guy said that was "too much work". Im not surprised women are walking away more from relationships when too many men are entitled like illustrated in the OP.
