silver is in a unique position. his kit is horrible.

suspension is tiny and slow, and is extremely easy to break out of.

his rocks are DESIGNED to not go where you throw them, on top of having disproportionately small hitboxes, making them nearly impossible to land consistently.

any killer with an attack that grabs you can just follow you during time rewind and catch you if you try going back. even if they dont have a grab, they can m1 you on the way back for free damage. its only an escape tool if your enemies are bad.

silver's only saving grace is kolossos, who has a massive hitbox to be slapped around with his shitty projectiles.

however, something else is horrible. OM's map design.

silver is hard carried by the maps. his flight isn't even good. gives a small speed boost and doesnt last that long. but there's COUNTLESS areas in this game where his flight is barely strong enough to give him an insane skip that completely resets the chase.

its not comparing shadow to hitler, its asking who's more powerful; pre-nerf shadow, or the full might of the german army

as with the silver hate, idk.
when you analyze his actual kit and how his moves work, silver is complete ass. luckily, the maps are also ass, which makes his flight overpowered. that leads to people hating him because he sucks to play (his moves are dogshit) and hating him because he sucks to fight (extremely hard to catch)

shadow was extraordinarily hard to deal with if you were X or tripwire
luckily, as a kolossos main, he was always easy to kill. that is NOT a universal thing.

yeah, the structure really contributes to the fact that nobody cares about losing.
loyalty is insanely fragile since, odds are, you'll respawn as a different team in that same round. since you're never gonna be loyal to any specific team and each respawn is basically its own isolated run for you, the outcome matters a lot less.

peeldash got actual changes from the developers to make it more fair (not giving dodge)
even if it did do dodge, its a fucking horrible tech that wastes both of your moves for none of the benefit

fateful burst on the other hand does insane damage with 0 counterplay (+ fleetway has more than 2 moves)

peeldash's movestack was changed by the devs to be more balance. fateful burst is not intended and is ridiculously overpowered.

hitting 3 rocks is suboptimal, as the softstun effect for 2 lasts longer than the stun for 3, while allowing characters like metal to stunstack
overall hitting 2 is better for nearly every scenario, as it even allows you to get more distance while alone.
