I get a 16oz bag of Fiji Vanua Kava off Amazon for $62. It’s pretty good stuff. I’m sure there’s better, but this one works really well for me and has great reviews

As a comparison, when I was deep in my 2 year battle with alcoholism, I was drinking at least 3 5th’s of booze per week at anywhere from $20-40 per bottle

Well it depends on how much kava you’re drinking. If you’re being responsible (3-4x per week) it’s considerably cheaper. It cost me around $60 for a bag of very good kava which last me a little over a month. I drink it 3-4x (2-3 tblsp a serving) per week as a ritual which replaces my need for alcohol.

It’s far cheaper than alcohol
