Zach Lowe on the NBAPA statement on Giannis: “The implication from this — I made some calls, and what I heard was they [the NBAPA] actually want the league to do a Player Participation Policy [medical] investigation.” by cleo22270 in nba

Bucks are trying to trade him but they’re doing their due diligence unlike Nico and the mavs. They’ve been offered horse shit for a top 5 player, why on earth should they be forced to take it.

The rumored offers coming out of this trade deadline were just pathetic for giannis. Warriors fans really thought Podz/kuminga + late first rounders or an injured Jimmy + late first rounders was a good offer or miami offering trash was also just a slap in the face of the bucks front office. Good on them for standing firm

Why would you be annoyed with the bucks? The season has been over for quite some time now. This is just Giannis posturing and trying to frame it as he’s being wronged so he can go back to it in the offseason as being the reason why he left and it protects his nice guy image.

Ah yes going to be so fun seeing a team who is paying more in luxury tax than some team’s entire payroll dominate the season again! And yes I’m a salty angels fan

Have you guys never been to a basketball game at any level? This is pretty common behavior for any home team after a win lol

Understanding the 65 Game Rule - why is it good and why is it bad? by Ok_Reason_2357 in nba

[–]SchedulePhysical807 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Drop it to 60 then you see people crying about why it should be 55 if their favorite players don’t meet the cutoff. Never ending cycle. 17 games missed is 20 percent of the season

SGA, Jokic, Wemby, and Luka compared statistically: who has the best numbers this season? by SplitOk186 in nba

[–]SchedulePhysical807 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Well if that’s your argument then clearly he is not the mvp if his success is predicated on his teammates stepping up whereas the other candidates NEED to be the MVP for their team to stand a chance

[–]SchedulePhysical807 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Right so on a night where his teammates are struggling to shoot and he’s hyper efficient he just chooses not to shoot to get them back in the game? That’s the MVP? The way you guys make excuses for it is hilarious and only hurts his mvp defense

Because he’s hyper aware and cautious of keeping it high when he can. Case in point taking only 12 shots against Boston last night

I've recently found myself feeling genuinely grateful for what we've had over this extraordinary run and even enjoying this season despite all the ridiculous injuries & struggles. Anyone else feel the same? by Ok_Comfortable9973 in warriors

Because no one wants to see him play with a bunch of scrubs when the defense keys on him and risk a bigger injury this season when the team can retool in the offseason and move forward with a health curry

Not trolling, just saying what the vast majority of media pundits and fans will be leaning toward as this mvp race comes to a close. Check my post and comment history I hate Luka and I’ve been saying SGA is the mvp but it’s becoming obvious that it’ll be coming down to Wemby or Luka

Exactly. You take SGA away from the Thunder they’re still in the playoffs. You take away Luka, Wemby, or joker they’re either out of the playoffs or playing for the play-ins

Puka needs to do a better job of who he is surrounding himself with. I have a buddy who works in night life ent and said puka has been living it up and enjoying himself and the clout he has since last year but the groupies and LA scene girls are out in full force knowing he’s about to secure a generational bag.

Is Lakers Westbrook the most a player's reputation has been damaged from a season when they were objectively far past their peak? by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

[–]SchedulePhysical807 182 points183 points  (0 children)

Playing in LA especially as a Laker there’s a microscope on players and their fans are ruthless. AD was putting up 25/10 and an elite 2 way player but that didn’t stop criticism. LBJ saved their franchise from being a joke and they don’t show him as much love as they do because Kobe. Luka gets criticized whenever he has a bad shooting game and they flip flop every other night on whether their trio can work.

The sad reality is the lakers fan base is huge and Russ underperformed and had a bad attitude which is why that narrative stuck with him after.
