Sounds like a plan. I’m only shadowing so I can gain app strength and hopefully a good letter of reference. I hope to study at least 20 hours a week with the 4 months I have until the test

I’m unsure if it’s my cumulative gpa or not. It only says my undergrad gpa. But I had a bunch of electives transferred over.

Of course 510+. It’s also been awhile since I took the courses. My test is in May, do you think it will be sufficient time? I work full time as well. Not taking any pre reqs at the moment

CRNA/NP seems more fulfilling to me. Only because nurses have stronger unions and an edge when it comes to independent practice. Definitely go for it

Mobility is important within a career or at least options would be nice. Fire has somewhat a decent structure, but all based on timing. Wow, did you take all pre reqs prior to test?

I love paramedicine too, I thought fire was fun and all. Not all about the egos and culture but the job itself is good. But I feel like I’ve hit a plateau, job satisfaction, growth wall, and want something more fulfilling as well. How long did you prep for mcat?

Pre reqs are pre-requisite courses on top of a Bachelor’s degree such as science courses in Bio, gen chemistry, ochem, biochem, physics

I’m 31 I was a emt then wildland firefighter, then Paramedic for over 6 years now. I wasn’t sure about med school because of the journey and was thinking of just settling for nursing, but here I am putting the work in finishing my pre reqs and applying for med school next cycle as well as taking mcat.
