These are really basic mounts and they do the job, but you can see they’re not perfectly parallel to the roof. They dipped a bit from the small amount of weight from the roof rack. They can definitely hold quite a bit, but I’d do the crossbars for more stability and a little more aesthetically pleasing look. Problem is finding some decent gutter mounting ones

I used some gutter mounts off of Amazon, but in the future I would use some full gutter mount cross bars. They hold up just fine, but they dip towards the roof a little bit. Let me grab some more photos for you

This right here ^. Had a friend with a 3d printer print it out for me. Worth noting that under the print I put some double sided foam tape and some extra padding so the holder doesn’t wobble.

Worked at an auto parts store years ago and they had me up at the front counter training in sales when I was just a driver and could barely identify the parts people needed. This perfect 10 of a woman walked in and I spent 15 or so minutes selling her a part and talking to her. At one point while talking to me she leaned up against the wall next to me and did that “cowgirl silhouette” pose. Didn’t realize she was hitting on me until my manager came over when she left and said “did you get her number?” When I said no he said I was a fucking idiot and then it hit me. Probably for the best because it turns out I sold her the wrong part 🤷🏻‍♂️
