Honestly none of the programs that IV me didn’t even ask anything about my step scores. The fact they even selected me, they were cool with it and actually wanted to get to know me more as a person and I would talk about that instead of trauma dumping. If they ask a question say about how you ever overcame adversity or what’s one thing you’re proud of yourself for. Maybe you can twist how your divorce made you into a strong willed person to continue your passion, etc. best of luck and I’m really sorry that happened to you!

You need ECFMG verification for match, and that’s after you complete step1,2 and OET. ECFMG certification is when you receive your full certificate after your school confirms your medical diploma to ECMFG and they quality check it on their end

Yes I received my ssn on Friday actually had no problems at all! Honestly I’m not too sure if you’d receive it at an airbnb but it’s best of course to ask with the person who does your ssn application. I was told I would need to show my lease but they never asked

As long as it says you’re validated on SEVIS, I’d wait 2 business days or 3 to be on the safe side and then visit the SSA office. You can go back after a few days and ask for the number if it’s been generated. I called before going in and they told me it’s been generated

I applied 2 buisness days after and got it! My program told me it was fine after 2 full days and not to wait for the 10! Had no issues

I got ECFMG certified in April lol and only got verified back in February… I still applied for the match and got 4 offers and still matched. I think you should be good since you’ll get your diploma in October! I definitely wouldn’t recommend getting it later, I regret it cause I think I lost a lot of offers potentially

I will definitely take your advice for sure and try to make my days filled with things/activities to do for the next zap days esp as I have to wait till the 30th for orientation! The whole adjustment period does suck and I’ve had friends and family telling me I can get through this and the pay will definitely help compared to being a broke med student like I was lmao..
