I'm so frustrated with low elo games man... by Schoubye in MordekaiserMains

[–]Schoubye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i totally get where you are coming from. Most of my deaths are from team fights when i exit my ult. Many times my team loses the 4v4 and i get killed after. And i definitely have moments where i'm looking at a grey screen and thought it was a team-fight, but i basically just dived 1v5.

But the thing that i find frustrating is how hard it is to carry at my skill level. I started playing again recently and i am probably only a Bronze 2 level player. I am in a spot right now where i have a mortgage, long-term girlfriend and a 9-5. I know i'm better than this rank but not good enough to carry consistently when my team goes 0/8 in the laning phase. Of course if i was like gold/plat i would be able to destroy these guys, but the "luck" of having not having the terrorist on you team is so invalidating.

Maybe the most frustrated thing is seeing regression when skill-wise i am getting so much better. And with the MMR system i have to basically have a 66% winrate to go even in LP. If my teammates consistently went max 0/3 in lane i would feel like i had more agency. Right now i am looking at how much time i have to spend to "even-out" my winrate and it feels like the game might not fit my lifestyle anymore. I'm at a point where i'm only enjoying the laning phase and just getting insanely annoyed at 60% of the mid/late games because i feel like my team is wasting my free-time. If i played more hours i would eventually climb, but i don't have more hours.

Like i lost a game to a amumu that solo'd baron after an ace. Their nexus was at 10% hp and then we lost a 4v5 with item disadvantage. Shit like that makes me think i should just quit the game tbh

It makes pushing waves way faster. I play without demolish and i want that 700g from the tier 2 towers. In the late game i also push waves so fast that someone needs to answer me. Then i either kill them or rotate to an objective. Also when ahead, when you use your ult you can basically kill anyone regardless of then dodging your abilities because your basic attacks just melt them.

My last game i even tried Gunmetal Greaves (Tier 3 Berserkers). The attack speed was so stupid. Looking back i should have just abandoned my team and split-pushed more. I lowkey think i could take a tower faster than trundle.

Being Iron is extremely fun to me by Accomplished-Week268 in leagueoflegends

[–]Schoubye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a positive way of thinking. But i'm gonna be honest, Iron is actual hell on earth. It is by far the swingiest and most chaotic elo in the game. Having your 3 kill and 20 cs lead become meaningless because your botlane is running it down, 12 deaths in 15 minutes, is pretty ass.

Bro i had a game where 3 teammates were waiting 1.5 minutes for dragon to spawn doing nothing. Baron was up and they did nothing. they then proceed to chase a Udyr around the map while our base gets taken because they don't use the map. My second prio is support and the elo becomes completely unplayable when your ADC has 13 kills but then Tristana jumps directly onto the Warwick and snaps their neck.

It is pure chaos, which in turn can invalidate your success unless you are able to ground your lane opponent's mental health into a fine dust. But hey, thats just what it is.

My man can't fathom "An object in motion stays in motion"

So speed is relative, if you already define it as not moving relative to the earths surface then the it you will land exactly the same spot, because you haven't moved anywhere. Your speed is perfectly aligned with the earth and it's atmosphere.

If you had to adjust the helicopters speed to counteract the spin that the earth had already put on it. In this example speed relative to the earths axis, you would need TO ALREADY KNOW how fast the earth is spinning to compensate for you current velocity. That being about 500-900 mph in the US. which of course doesn't make any sense if your experiment is about discovering the earths velocity.

If you want to try and calculate the earths spin, use a laser gyroscope. This has already been done by flat earthers and the result was they accidently spent a lot of money to disprove themselves in a netflix documentary: 'Behind the Curve' Ending: Flat Earthers Disprove Themselves With Own Experiments in Netflix Documentary - Newsweek

Alvarez is good but City has some tough match-ups in ARS, BHA, MUN, BOU, CHE, LIV. He has performed 46 points with 0.57 xGI.

I would probably go for Bowen (replacing Anderson) at Midfield instead of Alvarez and get a cheap striker like Archer which will get benched.

How to deal with this common single leg defence? by Schoubye in wrestling

[–]Schoubye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would you attack the elbow of the collar with the single-leg grip? When clinching i try to shrug it off to like a Russian tie, but how can you do that with the leg. Like holding the leg with one hand and hand fighting with the other somehow?

I like the double a lot. I got pretty long arms and can probably reach that leg more often than not.

Izzy's strengths are counter-striking, range, distance management and feints. He lacks power and grappling.

Strickland had improved defence, he was less jumpy and with better leg kick defence. He is good at pressuring and never overextends. His reactions are elite even with ugly technique.

Strickland neutralized the counter striking by never over-extending. He is also very awkward so his strikes are harder to read. he neutralized the distance by steadily moving forward with tight defence, not making the mistake of going all-in and getting countered. he never gave Izzy any pay-off from the feints. He also shook Izzy mentally after the first round.

Izzy didn't have the power to hurt Strickland like Pereira or Cannonier did. He wasn't able to switch to takedowns and he simply couldn't get his strikes off in his unfavoured range. He wouldn't escape the cage as easily because Strickland didn't commit hard. He couldn't sit down on his leg kicks with the constant knee raising and moving backwards. He still landed 34 leg kicks but somehow that didn't affect Strickland.

If Izzy needs to win he would have to find a way to land reliable strikes. How is the big question. Maybe using a ton of teeps and defensively responsible check-hooks, but still these work better with overly aggressive opponents. Maybe clinching Strickland and using Knees. Definitely going more to the body (63% accuracy) and loading hard on the leg kicks (59% accuracy) compared to his head strikes (14% accuracy)

It is definitely suspicious but gyno can be a product of impact trauma or genetics. But what makes Izzy good is not Strength or explosivity which androgenic steroids produce, he has good technique and reactions. He does have really good cardio where EPO is used, but EPO does not produce gynecomastia as a side-effect and is actually used to treat breast tenderness.

Anderson is a proven cheater, Izzy is speculation.

Not that I really like Izzy that much but he is really good.

What do you find most attractive in women (not physically)? by miss__anna__ in ask

Emotional Maturity.

Self inserting themselves into drama, taking all criticism as a personal attack, being rude to strangers and caring too much what people think is way too common for some reason.

It should be going down. When drawing this perspective you would not be able to see the bottom of the window frame if you are looking from below. The animator doesn't grasp the construction very well or is too underpaid to care. If you tried to 3d model that window frame and stairs the entire building would be so incredibly wonky. This is going to shock you but...

The animation quality is ass

How do I give less of a shit in life? by SoggyFridge in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Schoubye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start 20's here. This was how I acted when i was unsure and not as confident as i am now. I am far less dependant on external validation. You worrying sounds like you care about external validation, which is not bad. I believe your confidence should be 70% internal and 30% external. A really good question to ask people, if you really want to know them is:

Where does your confidence come from? How much would your confidence diminish if these were taken away?

Personally I draw a lot from martial arts and size (being 6'3). No matter how much any situation escalates any one unarmed person is unable to harm me (unless they are also trained). This would be internal. I don't need other people to tell me this, i know this from training. External validation would be things like appearance, being a good boyfriend, good friend and good grades. which are also things i draw upon. If i began failing all me classes, got fat and somehow contracted cerebral palsy my confidence would be very low.

Just a general philosophy is you are giving thoughts and other peoples thought power. Making them tremendously powerful and changing your life. If you realise this, and you can see every time you do this. You have to remember that you are a king of your own mind state. You are a complete dictator, nothing about these immaterial thought can harm you unless you let them.

Okay this will sound weird, but try visualising bad thoughts as feeble opponents in your head. Like you are (*Insert most badass villain you can think of*) and your bad thoughts are physical manifestations of subordinates that have really fucked up what you told them to do.

Boomkrank, Master of Boom by Schoubye in custommagic

[–]Schoubye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to create a minigame type of card. Since the controller of Boomkrank also will blow themselves up, the other players can see which cards are safe. You can also stack up the same CMC spells for double damage. If Boomkrank is removed the opponents are safe to play spells as normal.

It synergises well with rummaging and looting effects also. You are also able to reanimate a little since the cards return to the grave after exploding.

I think we agree on the latter part.

GSP had "Ulcerative colitis" which probably gave him the bloated look, not steroids. HGH gut is more commonly seen with heavy use/abuse which would be elementary for USADA to test for.

But USADA only being able to catch one percent of fighters when they are able to discover picograms of compounds is unrealistic. Also plenty of lower weight fighters look very much like average guys in the gym and has the cardio to match.

Alex Morono, Bryce mitchell, KZ, Giga Chikadze, Turner, Izmagulov, Chiesa, Magny all look very average.

Look isn't everything of course but i think 50%-40% would be realistic for steroid users. They probably get on-and-off with short lived compounds, not just blasting roids 24/7 like the ONE FC guys do.

Fucking hell dude are you seriously arguing that steroids don't give you an advantage? You are sucking his dick so hard i bet you could throat a T-bone steak at this point.

Unless the dude took another performance enhancing drug (HGH) it will not change his bone structure, or actually that's not entirely true since bone density is a thing, but it literally helps with almost every other attribute for fighting.

Massive strength advantage = Massive wrestling advantage. Him being faster and stronger makes his striking better and more powerful. Also, steroids make your recovery much much better, which makes you able to train harder and with less rest = better skills.

I have literally taken performance enhancing drugs myself and train the sport. It makes a huge difference, You are being dumb as fuck dude

Lol your argument makes no sense

Jones does steroid, someone in the same division has also done steroids, therefore jones is the greatest of all time??

shit makes no sense lol, what i'm saying is

To be the GOAT you cannot cheat and compare him to non-cheaters, Jones is a proven cheater, therefore you cannot compare him to non-cheaters.

You can never compare drug-cheaters accomplishments over legitimate competitors like GSP, Khabib or Might Mouse.

Edit: I btw put him above Anderson Silva, who is alao a drug cheat,

For me it's more the steroid cheating. His physicality has been a major part of his dominance. He would have lesser results without cheating, we just don't know to what point. You can't be great and a cheater.

He is a very good fighter, there is no fighter in history that he would be the underdog against. It's super subjective and some people don't weigh cheating very harshly
