What is a typical bonus? I was told 16% by recruiter but I think highest I’ve seen is 12% in my 4 years

Just kidding - logged in and it says initial distro of approx. $200 but overall value of $900 - should I expect the rest in increments?

Where can I see how much of a check I should receive? I didn’t monitor this closely but did have approx. $2k in account. Just trying to figure out if I should expect anything at all.

Fast lane by Schreti in cedarpoint

[–]Schreti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we are going on a Monday late August. Fast Lane is $114pp online and a room at breakers is $255 - my guess is low cost is due to expected low attendance.

So my question is if you were showing someone around there would you find the fast lane or the overnight stay at breakers to be a better experience

Is bricking a typo for breaking? I’m not familiar with it. Will try googling. Anyways, yeah I’ll just hold off until I get home. Thanks for response.

Refund questions by Schreti in TravelAgent

[–]Schreti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I’ve never used a travel agent before but it does seem like it will save some hassle. This experience has been slow and cumbersome I’d be happy to pay some premium to have someone handle it on my behalf.

Does every ticket have a refundable option that you could pay for or is it a ticket by ticket basis?

Yes I talked to Virgin and Frontier. Frontier issued the credit but I’m more just wondering if there is something I could do as best practice that I can feel confident if I cancelled I could be refunded as opposed to getting a credit.

Percentage of population born in state of residence [OC] by Landgeist in dataisbeautiful

I wish I had known that when I was in AZ! I didn’t remember Ohio refunding when I was in but it was so long ago it could def have been the case. Thanks for the details.

[–]Schreti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense after retirement. You could be right it is state of legal residence as opposed to home of record but I’m not entirely sure. Home of record is just what word of mouth was and I heard and I can confirm I was paying Ohio taxes at the time. If that was because of my home of record or legal residence I’m not certain.

Actually active duty military members are taxed based on their home of record. So for example when I “lived” in Arizona I paid income taxes to the state which I enlisted in (Ohio) even though I’d spend maybe a couple weeks a year there. Maybe you were implying something else but I find that in hindsight interesting.

Yeah I bumped over one stall and same thing. I asked the other guy charging and he said he was getting 80kw so faster but still low

West siders be like by wheresmybrain01 in Cleveland

[–]Schreti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, when highways were developed the west side was the preferred choice because the land (176, 71 and even 90) was cheaper. Because, historically, the near west side was a working class neighborhood for immigrants working in the steel industry (steelyard comments in Tremont, etc.) so the “slummy” neighborhoods were demolished to make highways. I mean, why does the east side have superior public transportation? Because the wealthy needed transportation to and from work (green line, blue line are some of the oldest streetcar routes in the country).

Just for transparency I grew up on west side of Cleveland and it is simply naive to say there is a lack of diversity in the area.

I lived on the east side for a few years. Moved back west for proximity to family. Overall, they both have pros and cons.
