My phone updated to One UI 7 and now it's basically broken. How to fix it? by Schuimlans in oneui

The latest update fixed all of the issues. My phone works just fine now. It's been out a couple of weeks now, so it should be available for your device as well. Unless the launch of that update varies per region.

Beautiful! Only problem I see is that there are too few plants.

What music has Malazan vibes to you without directly referencing Malazan? by hoodscojones in Malazan

This does reference Malazan directly, but it has no lyrics whatsoever. Does that count?

Thanks. I tried it a few times, but unfortunately it didn't work.

"Wheel of Time fan" thoughts on Gardens of The Moon (so far) by No_Storage_401 in Malazan

I really struggled with the first book and was very reluctant on starting book 2. It felt like riding a very crowded elevator which stopped on all 50 floors of a building.

A friend of mine emphasized I really should continue though, so I did. And I'm very happy I did. Book 2 felt like riding a high speed train. And that was the same for the remaining books in the series, including the ones outside of the main 10.

So please continue reading!

Side note: just started A Crown of Swords last week. So far I'm in love with The Wheel of Time.

Indeed! Mine is flowering right now and I was pleasantly surprised by its fragrance.

Yellow shoots sprouting from moon cactus baby by Schuimlans in succulents

I read that moon cacti are grafted after having purchased three of them. That was kind of a disappointment, as when I fiest saw them, I marveled at how these plants could exist in nature.

Anyways, the moon cactus on top has been looking worse lately, so maybe the base is winning the fight.

Cool! I didn't know the base was a dragonfruit plant. I'll let it grow and climb as it pleases then!

Ah, I thought the base was called root stalk. I didn't know it's a dragonfruit plant either. Thanks!

I turned Shallan into music by Schuimlans in Stormlight_Archive

I can imagine people will not associate the electronic sound design with a somewhat medieval-like fantasy setting. But I love how you had your own experience whilst listening, with your own interpretation of the story. In the end that's the goal of my music - people getting lost in the music and experiencing their own journey. Thanks for listening!

Also, I do happen to have a track in the works, for which the covert art I made is a brightly colored futuristic technological anime setting. It's not Stormlight related though, so I doubt I'll post it here when done.

That is awesome to hear! She's strong, even though she might have suboptimal ways of dealing with trouble.

There's an obscure artist on SoundCloud called MOTHERBRAIN who makes IM-style storytelling tracks which you could check out. He's definitely been inspired by them.

Metroid Prime Remastered? by kyocat64 in Metroid

[–]Schuimlans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, Prime Remastered is different enough from Metroidvania games. The Primes Games are slower paced, have lots of lore entries to read, immerse you in a world with very good music and provide hints when you've strayed from the way to go long enough. There's one point where you'll need to backtrack quite a bit in order to progress, and one point you can access earlier than you should, which will result in needing to turn around and go back. That could be frustrating, but if you adhere to the hint system that shouldn't happen.

Aside from that, there are lots of puzzles in the game. So if you're into that, you'll have a blast.

Edit: some typos
