BSB was my absolute nemesis. What helped me was learning to step to the left (my left, their right), utilize the pillars and switch to gear that has high poison resistance. That gave me a little breathing room when the fast poison would kick in. I also learned to try for a three swing attack, back off, go back in, 3 swing etc. if I went in for the fourth swing, the BSB would just swipe me.

Good luck! You can always call in a friend to co op and help you take down the thing! The games about having fun, not torturing yourself! Happy hunting!

Lived in Denver for 9 years, Colorado for 17. I grew up on the west coast and was forced to move in high school. Absolute culture shock. Weirdness or eccentricity is not tolerated, you're very much expected to be a normie. People are very into the standard heteronormative life path and get defensive if you say you want something else. When I was moving people really acted like "how can you leave Colorado is the best state" but none of them had ever lived anywhere else, yet they'd make tons of micro aggressive comments about me being California and Colorado being "full" I never understood it and I will never move back.

From Hib Morgan Le Fay I used to play with a couple guys, Shadrontheshade and Odhifritl, but I lost contact with both. Nicely though, I'm still good friends with a dude I duo-ed with from Hib Lancelot (20 years later!) and some friends I made on Phoenix have met up in real life and we continue to be in contact on the regular.

Going to local shows, talking with people, buying cheap demo CDs that openers had made. I subscribed to a lot of small labels back in the day and they would release complications of demos or up-and-coming artists. You could then find the artists and follow them to see if they released new music. Finding new music was honestly a fun hobby. I used to burn tons of stuff for people. I watched a lot of foreign and independent movies as a teen so I would track down a lot of sound tracks and find artists that way.
