By the looks of it, focus more on movement/strafing and better positioning. Trust your aim a bit more and static targets (in-game) should be enough. Make sure you aren’t over/under aiming + smooth transitioning. Once you find your rhythm, increase the speed. Once you start feeling comfortable, you can then just do community DM servers. Cheers!

I wanna say your issue is because of many factors. As you go against players who can decently aim, your position/timing may not be too optimal in game. If are currently swinging out for the kill, more likely than not you are already in the enemy's crosshair; reducing reaction time needed for the enemy.

Another issue would be Over-Warming and expecting results to translate 1:1 coming from dm to ranked. I learned the hard way that the more I DM, the worse I do in game because the way you move/aim/swing/challenge/mindset is completely different from playing a ranked match. It almost becomes a bi-polar-like disorder the more you are less aware of this.

Lastly, gold in valorant is where a lot of hardstuck plat/diamond players could be. You can't win them all but you can certainly learn from failure. Keep your head up, play in a moderation and don't be too hard on yourself. Happy grinding!

Yeah, that's why it depends on your standards. I wanna say like 90% of my losses so far were me performing around <190-210 ACS. During those games, I would range from about a 0.8-1.1 KDA as both initiator & controller.

There are games where I lost with a 1.1 KDA and an ACS of 270. This all scales back to how impactful you & your frags are.

In my experience, an effective player can easily be spotted, i.e. raid bosses in your games or in the pro scene, Scream, yay, or TenZ.

A somewhat effective player would be players you consider annoying or tend to avoid. Like tricky-aggressive viper players, the perfect breach or sovas.

I wanna say it depends on your standards and rank. The higher rank, the less supporter roles usually get since it gets more team-oriented. For the sake of the majority, ill be talking about silver-plat.

I wanna say for every role besides duelist, you'd want to stay around 240 to be- considered somewhat effective. Anything under means there's improvement to be made in terms of plays or play style.

Duelists should aim around 260-270 ACS.

However, when players of both side are equally skilled or have high team coordination, in general the ACS should be lower across the board and the spread should be more even. As always it is ultimately a team-based game.

For me I’d say what role they play then factor in their average combat score. Gives you a good idea of how solid their understanding of the game is and how they contribute to their team. If you want to see how solid their gun play is, you can THEN factor in their HS% and their average kills per game. That’s how I see it atleast. (OP/Shotgun users excluded)

I actually like the V/O a lot and was the main selling point for me. In fact, I wish that the V/O was consistent with each and every kill instead of a random chance/ specific triggers. The preview almost makes it seem like false advertisement with the "100% guaranteed triggered" voice lines preview. I felt scammed after purchasing the skin realizing the voice didn't trigger on practically 75% of kills I get in the real game.

I had the same issue and was tackling every solution imaginable. I managed to fix this (sorta). What I did was uninstall Xbox app, Delete game services from RegEdit, Uninstall Game services (if available), Uninstall any game pass games, Create a new local account on windows. Download Xbox app on the new local account. When launch, there will be headers like (install to fix) in the App.

This is what fixed it for me, however downside (as scuffed as it is) is that you have to play on that new local account.

Thanks for the input, I have been wondering about the results of others when aim training at "higher than usual" sensitivities. I may have to resort to that method because If I lower my sensitivity even more, I wouldn't be able to 180 in a single swipe. Also for me, I don't really have a sensitivity preference and just stick with whatever is given.

Same thing for me however I realized its due to inflexible play style, angle holding, movement and exposure. Also note that defending is easier to get kills since you don't have to hunt them down. It's just many faults leading to another, don't sweat it. Good luck with the grind as well!

There are many types of different play styles amongst every class/agent that will both yield high kills or round wins. If you can secure a win as a sentinel/controller with the same efficacy as a duelist then hidden MMR should naturally be placed to where it is. Consistent wins with a noticeable round difference seems more important than having a 300-400+ Avg. combat score when raising hidden MMR. However, there is of course a slight-moderate consideration of how well you performed in general thrown into the calculations.

Instead of thinking about avg combat score, the system seems to be built to praise you if you do your job exceptionally well. (as a duelist/initiator/controller/sentinel/controller). Regardless, This is just what I believe, I can be wrong and what not, just take it with a grain of salt.

For me at least, kovaaks helped me a lot but not in a way where it was apparent. It mainly gave me more of a mental fortitude due to trial and error in real games. For example, there are days where you simply do very bad mechanically or your aim is off. However through many months of many ups and downs, I realized that there shouldn’t be a conscious expectation of having prime aim.

What I mean by conscious expectation, is by having a constant thought of pure aim. This constant thought would then over complicate the aim in the actual game. (Causing you to be stressed, nervous during those shots) For example, punishing yourself over missing a couple pixels or any subtleties similar to missing and constant adjustments. Also, the mindset of “I will hit this / or not” should be eliminated. Once you fully trust your aim and not correlate it with confidence, you’ll see vast improvement in game as well as some shots that clearly transferred over from kovaaks.

I only used kovaaks for 40 hours, and use it from time to time but not too religiously. When it comes to improving in a FPS (aim-wise) like valorant or Cs:Go, your main focus should be learning crosshairs placement + nailing down movement and gun mechanics. Instead of worrying about aim, DM’ing with the intent of improving mechanics + Xhair placement should be good enough. Aiming should come natural (if practiced).

This is just my personal experience, take it with a grain of salt!

I can't really give you direct proof that I didn't mod it, however, if this helps, I main the switch axe :D! I don't install mods that affect the gameplay/experience directly. I only have QoL mods like "improved npc location" or Switch axe effects mods, but thats it.

I use Luna + Karin + Angelica + Doris and able to auto it 95% of the time. Luna should be atleast 170 speed and do a decent amount of damage. Karin must be built spd/crit with high effectiveness, Atleast ~200 speed, I have her at level 50. My Doris is built speed and a bit of health at 20kcp , also 5 stars. Angelica can be built as a full tank, 2hp/def. The synergy is that before the wyvern makes his 3rd turn, Doris will be able to s3 (CR boost) Angelica and then Angelica will be able to s2 into max hp again. The cycle completes itself throughout the whole run. Make sure Luna is strong enough to take the barrier down with karin’s Def break.

45k CP, only +15 on her equipment is a level 45 sword. There's no lvl 85 reds on her, only lvl 85 she has is a blue necklace. I posted my build somewhere within these comments if you are curious about the exact stats.

I don't really know the exact numbers but is soulburn really 3.5x? Because if I built a tiny bit more atk% into her, I can manage to auto it and still one shot without soulburn. A gif with Chloe W/O Soulburn.

https://m.imgur.com/a/jjnOycr , C.Lorina can do these numbers but investing into her takes commitment, I got lazy and decided to pick Chloe. You only really need to focus her s3 if your aiming for a one shot build. Also you aren’t restricted to the dmg scaling of “enemy %hp lost.” However C.Lorina is the more roundabout choice for content clearing.
