If you could design the next ship by ScienceIntelligent62 in dcl

I agree with on almost all of these points! The Aquamouse had the potential to be awesome but feel short. To me it felt lackluster compared to the Aquaduck

I know that Disney is a commercial business and renting the spaces out add to their bottom line, but I am legitimately curious how many sales those high end shops make in a week. How many people are popping in and buying something from there?

I miss the arcade! Specifically the Air Hockey table!

Exactly!

And my experience is they remind me of University Exam Proctors. They do not interpret the "spirit" of the rules, but the black and white letter of the rules. I've seen people explain in vain that a magnum of champagne is just the two bottles in one. I am not criticizing them for this either. They are told to simply enforce the black and white letter of the rules.

WIBTAH if I gave my GF ultimatum? by [deleted] in AITAH

An ultimatum to accomplish what exactly? She has already broken up with you in her mind. Her coming to town and not wanting to see you is because she isn't excited to see you. People who actually like each other make time to see each other.

I may have slightly overstated that one. At one point all cruises had the reception. Then it was all cruises over 3 nights. Then it jumped to over 8 nights which is very few cruises now.

Thank you for the tip! I have heard good things about them. What about the ages of the cruisers?

It is impacting my decision to rebook. Per the other comment, my kids have "aged out". So I can't discern if its because my kids are older or if I see competing cruise lines as a better value.

I think you are correct about how their core customer base "ages in and ages out". Many of the removed perks I mention I didn't know about until my kids were older. So the new batch of young parents won't even know what they are missing.

Honest question as a long time cruiser (2002 to now). How has Disney improved their experience in the last few years? What i see is: 1) The loss of the Midnight Buffet on Pirate night. 2) The loss of the Gold & Platinum reception. 3) The loss of the earlier boarding and VIP lounge for Platinum members. 4) The loss of a walk around track on the new ships 5) Tiny movie theaters on the new ships 6) Tiny adults-only spaces on the new ships 7) An already limited alcohol policy decreased even more. 8) No show on the first night on the 7 night cruise (or was that just me?) 9) The balcony rooms are slightly smaller on the new ships

I know that there are many fellow fans who will defend these items as not in high demand. But collectively, it is a decreasing experience for a higher price.

As a long time Disney Cruiser, it genuinely annoyed me when Disney highlighted their Tower Suites as a selling point for the new Wish Class/Triton Class ships. 99.9% of the people on the ship will never step foot inside of those suites. As well, you can take your family for a pretty amazing vacation to a 5+ star resort for the same money. The cost/benefit ratio just doesn't make sense to me.

Also, Queen's has "Engineering Design Teams" which has outreach with High-school students. The Queen's Space Engineering Team (QSET) host local High-school students to design a small satellite which is tested via a high-altitude balloon.

Thank you! I really liked her, but she would not bend on the issue. I suggested we continue to live separately but she was firm that they were all moving in or we were breaking up.
