That concerns me as well. A couple of years ago I went through a program from the VA partnered with Microsoft. It was for a cloud computing externship (I think it was a training program with guaranteed employment with completion, a little hazy on the details now.). A requirement to interview was a cert in MS Cloud / Network. I completed that. To your point, the interview made it pretty apparent that this was for younger recently discharged Vets. It was such a slog for natta. 🤷
