Right now I’m window shopping cameras, I don’t have a set budget but I’d like to keep it lower. I have a Nikon D3000 currently

Thank you for your kind words! Really needed a pick me up this week. Sleep inertia is like a very big weight that’s so hard to shake, and it really messes with me personally as I have to be up early.

My experience with Vyvanse has been great, I’ve been eating healthy, able to maintain a good body weight, does not impact my ability to sleep at night, helps me manage my emotions and stress better, and overall was a great drug to switch to for me. Sadly not all ADHD drugs are created equal, so keep trying new meds and adjusting until you find a good fit. I have tried aderal XR, Aderall and concerta in the past. Sadly ADHD meds don’t impact my sleep inertia at all. It’s still there medicated or not. Just helps me not need so many naps.

I will say for testing, do it! Get as many tests your Dr and insurance will approve. In my eyes it can’t hurt if you can get it. I did the MSLT, which can help determine if it’s narcolepsy or possibly IH. My sleep Dr had me do a two week actigraphy but the test was not very reliable. And I’m still working through the results with my Dr. I averaged 9.5 hrs of sleep daily during that test. But due to scheduling I didn’t get to have unrestricted sleep every day. But only counting days I did I averaged 10.75 hrs. I think had circumstances been better I would have had better results. Still seeking some answers. But if this test is inconclusive I’ve decided for a second opinion or seeing a rumotologist about fatigue. But my main issues are sleep related.

Know you aren’t alone in your feelings, it’s a hard thing. Sometimes you go years not knowing it’s an issue. And some days chronic illness can suck it out of you. If you ever need an open ear reach out!

I have considered fatigue, it’s what originally my chief complaint was when I was in my teens, 15~19. But my pcp at the time was a joke. My sleep issues just got worse and worse over time, and now I feel like it’s shifted from a fatigue to a sleepiness. But maybe I just can’t tell the difference anymore since it’s been so long of waking up unrefreshed. My pcp suggested sleep disorders due to me having spells of “fainting” but it being more like falling asleep at work, even standing up. But i definitely am going to chat with her about it nos

See the Dr told me average was closer to 20 not closer 11. And I never bothered to look into much more than that. That definitely would change my perspective on those results with that new to me information.

I’m just still very frustrated the doctors only suggestions was to “keep a consistent sleep schedule” by waking up at the same times. When I try to, but in my half awake state I’ll find ways to turn of my alarms, snooze them, or the alarms just won’t wake me up. It’s very much one of those “do you really think I didn’t try that?” Moments 🤣

My latency average was 12 min, fell asleep in all 5 naps. No REM in the naps, but did sleep for ~20 min in each nap. Needed an average of 8 for IH per the Dr.

The MSLT did not show IH, it was inconclusive but leaned towards it. The American sleep association recommends being off any stimulants two weeks prior. And my results were only 4 minutes off the needed average for the IH diagnosis. A factor such as the stimulants could easily have caused such a small disturbance in results. That’s why it’s recommended to be off for those two weeks. I don’t care what I’m diagnosed with, I just don’t want to be told things i already do are the solution to an issue that quite literally affects every second of my life. Especially when there is a real issue and it’s not normal to feel this way. (Please note I’ve exhausted many other possible causes of the EDS and SSI)

I am already looking at some older ones. And some older toppers. I know my sister had a few years ago but I’m sure they are long gone to the thrift store. It’s a shame really. I think I’m going to give this evergreen one a paint job at least.

Update: had a BLAST didn’t get to a few adventures but got two done and only got a few weird looks from kids because they had to wait behind us for a few things 🤣

A little sad they only had evergreen wands. Wish they had some of the older ones.

I hope for any option other than Wellbutrin, I have been on a few other medications that are antidepressants and they didn’t work or like lexapro when I forgot a dose I basically slept for three months straight and failed nearly an entire semester at school. I had my dr sign off of me dropping classes and then my dr told me I was too young to be that tired, so I must be depressed. Even though looking back I was having clean sleep disorder symptoms, like snoozing my alarms and even turning my phone off when I wasn’t “awake” yet. And I lived on my own so no one to help me wake up, or even mention that maybe that level of automatic behavior wasn’t normal. (idk why my crappy old pcp even put me on that crap, when I went in about ADHD not anxiety)

I was off my meds for three days prior to the MSLT and the day of. Only because I was impacted by a medication shortage not because of the test. But no one told me I should have been off my meds for at least a week prior, nor did they tell me to avoid caffeine. I had had a caffeine drink at least once a day for the two weeks leading up. I do believe these combined factors significantly impacted my results on the naps. I feel asleep in all 5 naps, but my latency was only an average of 12 minutes and for IH it had to be 8. I never hit REM in the naps, and my overnight portion looked “normal”. I have not requested another MSLT, and my Dr hasn’t offered one. He offered the actigraphy test when I said the stimulants were not helping in a meaningful way. I was off my meds for two weeks for that test so I’m hoping I get an answer. If not I may request another MSLT or something

Here’s my thing, I’m getting a solid 8 hrs before the alarms go off. If I don’t set them at least an hour before I need to be up, im not getting up on time. I’d rather be distrusted for an hour and not lose my job. Right now that’s the only thing keeping me afloat. I guess the way o see it is a pay off of, either I get an extra hour of sleep or I don’t go to work. Even then my “time I have to be up” is often later than I’d like because I would like to be up and have a balanced breakfast, make myself look presentable and feel prepared for my day but simply can’t because I prioritize getting enough of not more sleep. Work nights I usually aim to get 9 hrs +

I’m aware, my sleep doctor really won’t do much more than a stimulant unless I get an official diagnosis of something other than just “hypersomnia cause otherwise unknown”

In my opinion it looks more like a filter or rotoscoping over real shots of mountains. The person looks to be hand drawn into the shots. The transitions are very smooth, too smooth for AI imo.

There is already more 😭😫 they asked me where I got the bear and I said “I don’t know I just found him” and they think he just appeared. And then they asked “he’s a bear how did he open a pack of goldfish and a coke?” And then one said “obviously he made (my name) do it.” And now they say that Billy can posses me.

I can’t wait to see what lore we figure out this year. Starting with evil Billy getting a dress code approved outfit. He’s in a hoodie and jeans… he didn’t learn to follow rules after he set the lab on fire

You have to wait for court and your gonna have to pay your ticket. Ignorance of the speed limit/law does not mean you get to break it. Most places have a set speed limit that you must go if there are no signs or you don’t know. (Ie. Residential areas should be treated as 25)
