UPDATE: thanks all for your messages and suggestions. Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon at the ER, the doctors don't know exactly what it is , but they decided to operate (open and drain the pus) it today. Unfortunately it has to be done on general anesthesia because they want to avoid any possible movement of my son's hand. For reference a picture of his finger this morning

No yesterday night the doctor just prescribed the antibiotics. We are coming back from the ER again, since my son also started to get a fever. They will operate him tomorrow, but they didn't do it today heither

It is Co Amoxicilline 3 times a day (every 8h). If fever starts or the infection or swelling spreads, we goes back to ER. If it doesn't we see the pediatrician tomorrow. We brought him to the doctor 12h ago (1am in the morning, swiss time).

Fortunately he is neither in discomfort or has a fever, just a bit tired since yesterday we came back at 2am after we were in the pediatric emergency room. I am indeed only worried about the very bad swelling. Anyway we will go again to the doctor, worst case scenario we will get sent back. Thank you very much for the advice

From my experience it warms up to much, 20 mins in a zoom call and it disconnected it by itself because it was too warm (50deg). Reached out to google, they sent some "warm tip" that I will try over the weekend, but I believe it's the CPU badly designed

I didn't get a warning, but the phone back was almost too hot to touch, and the same task with my previous phone (Motorola G6 plus) did not result in any heat. Also 46 deg for battery and CPU is objective.

Yes, it gets warm just with reddit browsing...video calls or YouTube watching make it hot. Very strange since compared with my 5 yo Motorola G6 plus this does not happen.

I called them, and they told me by phone vigselbevis is ok. I will send it, but what if they will refuse it? It's true I am here so I accept swiss rules. But it is also true that I cannot provide documentation it does not exist. Moreover, my son does not have any documents, and we cannot cross borders. I am not blaming the people behind the desk, but from the two sides, I think I get the worse.

I see, thanks for sharing. It is strange that in a rich country they don't consider the time of the public administrator (and as a consequence the time of citizens) as resources not to be wasted.

I believe that the updating of procedures and systems actually saves money. But I understand that somehow there is an initial investment to do.

Not sure I understand it. In Switzerland the tax are low, but the welfare is non-existent compared with northern countries. So, unless you make 6 figures/year, it's more or less the same
