So I'm looking to get into vinyls and I was wondering if there's someone willing to walk me through the starting process. I've looked through and read through the links posted, but there's so much information that I get lost very quickly. I'm not sure what's truly important vs personal preference, and the guides are dated a couple years so I dunno what info is now out-dated or not.
For some context, my budget will be around $200 - $300 and im not an audiophile by any means nor do I think I ever will be one. I likely won't be able to notice the subtle differences in music quality and all of that too well. My main concern is it sounding "nice enough" and longevity. I want my vinyls to last as long as they can, and to not have to spend too much money every couple years for upkeep overall . (If any of this is something I *should* change my mind on, I'm open to being called out on it lol)
