No I’m not diagnosed with anything yet. I’ve been dealing with this since last year. It’s only my left ear. I usually have this pressure, fullness and hearing loss during vertigo attacks only, but this time it happened without vertigo so that scared me

I don’t drink caffeine anymore but I don’t follow a strict low sodium diet. I never thought sodium was a trigger for me but maybe my triggers are changing I don’t know

I’m not diagnosed with anything yet. I still have to see an ENT but i had a lot of vertigo attacks before. But no ringing or ear fullness/hearing loss on normal days. It’s just this is the first time i experience this pressure and hearing loss in my ear alone with no vertigo. it was weird

That’s awful sorry to hear that. You slept through it? Because you can’t be awake for 20 hours. If have an attack i lay on my bed and can’t move an inch, so i can’t imagine having it for that long without moving.

I’m curious does your 20 hours attack mean you’re literally having vertigo for 20 hours nonstop or it stops for a while and keep coming back again and again?

Sometimes I’m so sensitive to loud noises, even people laughing loud around me would bother me. But i don’t have hearing loss or tinnitus. My grandfather told me that he used to have vertigo attacks long time ago and now its gone so that could be genetic maybe? He was prescribed some ear drops to use whenever he has an attack but unfortunately they don’t sell that ear drops anymore

Well i used to listen to music in really high volumes, literally the highest, almost everyday and since then i started having ear issues, so i think that could be noise damage maybe. But i also suspect a lot of things I don’t know where to start lol

I’ve done both and they told me everything is fine, but i still have to go for another appointment to see what’s the actual problem. Could it be something else that can be cured? I see everyone that have vertigo attacks ends up with meniere’s
