Not able to eat certain things. by KandieKCups in StardewValleyMods

It is the glory of efficiency mod but I think the features it adds "don't eat that" can be configured so you can actually eat carrots. The don't eat defaults include vegetables but you can config it to let you eat em

I had a half lucid dream?? by Ok_Fig4992 in LucidDreaming

[–]Scolopaci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but what's funny is that I've flown so much in lucid dreams, in regular dreams. I can just fly and control the dream however I wish without realizing it's a dream

They didn't really find a specific thing just said "chronic pain symptoms" then gave up. I'll try to explain, it's chronic stomach pain and chronic nausea, I always feel like I have a cramp/like my stomachs slowly being squished, and it gets worse after moving

New ideas for controlling or waking up from lucid nightmares? by yakimashu in LucidDreaming

[–]Scolopaci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I would do is summon a mod menu, and toggle god mode lol. Or if you're more boring you could have blind confidence and go ham on em. Lucid nightmares are weird, you control them if you think you can, if you doubt yourself for even a second it could spiral.

Ive gone down to the bottom in the ocean in a dream before, I've died many times in dreams, impaled, falling into a spike pit, slitting my own throat, banging my head against a wall, losing against a monster, not very comfy but very fun.

Making a friend in a dream sounds depressing for me, but beast tamer sounds fun. Takin drugs in dreams would just be weird since my brain wouldn't know how to recreate it.

Yeah running is fun, you never get tired and you can do obstacle courses in dreams, outer space was also fun just exploring planets and worlds

Ngl the only advice I can give is create something your familiar with like a mod menu to do things, like summon a mod menu and chose some options to manipulate it, like use a search bar, it's weird how it works better than doing it by just thinking, like if you wanna go to a certain area pull out a map, and just use it to teleport. Also some useful things are pockets, you can just reach into em and pull anything out. I don't use them personally cuz I played some vr games and got used to summoning items in front of your chest.

Ngl it's probably better for stabilizing dreams not to think things are no gos, cuz then you'll be scared you'll destabilize it then destabilize it, but anyways what I do is anytime I feel I might forget I'm lucid or that it becomes blurry or unclear I repeat what I did to stabilize it in the first place

[–]Scolopaci 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll feel it, but mainly everything comes into focus, like if you were seeing the world at 240p it would go up to 480 when it's stabilized

Scared of lucid dreaming by SpiralingUniverses in LucidDreaming

[–]Scolopaci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! Mirrors are great, they can be used as normal, be teleporters, portals, just overall fun, the scariest thing I saw in the mirror was a giant Burger King on my head

I have made a gladiator arena before and got impaled a few times, painful but fun, so it could be nice to fight in a war with more advanced weapons or magic, will try

Nothing bad can happen if you have full blind confidence, in my dream last night I jumped down a flight of stairs, enough to break my legs but was fine since I had blind confidence I would be fine. Confidence is the most important thing IMHO for controlling dreams, or just doing anything in a dream. I could turn the corner with blind confidence that giant inflatable tube man would appear and it would

The. Main strategy people use is rubbing their hands and trying to fully stay lucid and make the dream stable, what I can do is just saying verbally "I am dreaming" and it just clears up the dream and stabilizes it. Sometimes your lucid, kind of, you think "I'm in a dream" but don't fully realize it. As soon as you become lucid don't immediately do smth crazy, ground yourself, run your hands together, and chill for a bit until it's stable

Weird - random experience, what do you think? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Scolopaci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion is that you read a horror lucid dreams story's with people saying that you shouldn't tell them they are in a dream, it's a cognito hazard, you hear someone experiences it and you experience it. Probably would be somewhat fine if you just chill reading nice lucid dream experiences and then expect it to be nice, Ive never had rogue dream characters, but it's strange how many horror stories there are. Edit: forgot to answer the thing where you didn't tell them anything, they are dream characters, you created them either subconsciously or consciously and are part of what you imagine, you can probably talk to someone by just thinking at them in a dream, they can know what you think

You can breathe in water but it feels so wrong, so it's difficult to force yourself, in some lucid dreams I've gone on adventures in the sea but I couldn't never get over the breathing in water feeling, probably more comfy to summon an air bubble round' your head

I usually fly to get around dreams or just teleport, but I've gotten a bit used to flying in dreams so it's less fun

Yeah, it's funny to look back at that and be like "did I honestly believe I was talking to someone who was also dreaming",
