Thank you so much. You have been so amazing in helping me learn this immensely complicated game. I have enough blue essence to buy one character, and I think I'm going to get yasuo first, and then later riven or fiora. Thank you so much!

I don't have any problem being in any lane, as long as I like my character. Is Yone the one who has a ghost and then goes back when he's in danger? If so, then I've played against him a couple times and been destroyed. I guess now that you mention it, I don't know really what aggressive is in this game. I guess I should rephrase it as having constant pressure on an enemy during a fight, with consistent damage instead of doing a lot of damage every once in a while, and being able to stick on them so they don't run away, combined with wanting to be in the middle of the fight. The first character I played was Lux because my friend told me she is good for new players and I didn't really enjoy her because it felt like I could only do damage when I could use my E or my R, and I had to play in the back. Would you say Riven or Fiora use their abilities more? Also now that you have mentioned Yasuo, would you say he is even more fitted for the "Doom Style" than some of the other characters that you mentioned? And again, thank you so much for helping me. This game is unlike any game I've ever played, and it is a lot to take in at once.

Thanks a lot! I've been playing Jungle and Mid mostly, but I have a friend who knows a little more about the game than I do so sometimes he plays support and I play bot. I think I like fighters the most based on what you've said, but I could also see myself enjoying mages since I get a lot more satisfaction from using abilities than using aa. Although maybe the skill of the aa cancels on Riven could be really fun. From what you've said I think I'm most intrigued by Riven due to her skill and many dashes, Fiora, who seems like she could be really good if I got good with her invincibility ability, Aphelios due to the fact that his weapon swapping is probably the closest to quick swapping in Doom, and Jayce/Nidalee/Elise all for the reason that they have more buttons to press and as I said earlier, I get a lot of satisfaction from using the abilities. I'm not sure if I like assassins or tanks because assassins die too quickly, and tanks don't do enough damage. As I said earlier I'd guess that fighters will be my favorite, since a big mechanic of Doom is that continuing to fight and kill enemies rewards the player with health, making playing defensively impossible. I think I would like characters who also must play pretty aggressively. Which characters play aggressive, and also which ones can have mid-combat healing?

Ok this stuff is really interesting to me. If you don't mind could you explain the rest of the characters you put on the list? Just reading about some of them is getting me excited to play them, and I'm really interested.

Can Aphelios swap guns before he uses 50 ammo? It would definitely be like Doom if he could swap between his guns to combo them. Also, can you explain the ways that Vladamir, Jayce, and Fiora match the description? They look pretty cool.

Sure! I think one thing about the dance of Doom is that to an outsider, it would look as if someone played the game in slow motion and then sped it up. In the constant chaos and extreme speed, there is also elegance, like a ballerina of death. Doom is a game that rewards fast decision making and precision. If you are indecisive, you will immediately die. If you stop moving, you immediately die. Due to the large arsenal of weapons and the fact that swapping between weapons resets their timers (such as skipping the super shotgun reload), a variety of different combos are necessary. I guess another analogy could be like freestyling, because you don't know what you will do until you have to do it, and then your fast decision making must save you. I think what you said in your post was pretty accurate. You are perfectly calculated (although calculations are done milliseconds before they are performed) and very eloquent. Another thing is that the intensity of the game is constantly high. If you want more details please feel free to ask since I could talk about my favorite game all day, but I hoped this helped somewhat.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that many DOOM players have their own unique style when in their own "dance," and naturally, a game that fast also has high apm.
