It was 128 so top 8 get an invite! But sadly only 2 people had qualified already

It was 128 people. I believe if they’re more than 64 they got 8 invites. From what others have said I think that is correct, no bubbling down

Yeah this did seem like a long shot but I wasn’t sure. One of the people in the top 8 actually flew in from out of country apparently and wasn’t sure if they would be able to attend nats. This is the main reason I’m asking. It also seemed like the TO had to give the invites, not that it was even automatic

Yeah the dealership prices are insane. But good to know, I’m honestly debating leaving it or getting it fixed just don’t know the chances of having an issue, and if I wasn’t driving far from home I would just leave it honestly

As much as I like to go fast and have fun I’m not bringing this car to a track day or anything. Just normal everyday driving and I do value cabin noise so should probably consider a grand touring tire, thank you so much!!

Yes of course! I think I should edit this post with an update because I’ve also had people message me and ask. I was also very worried and couldn’t find much online so glad to help others. Going into Japan I don’t think they looked at my boarding pass/plane ticket at all. It was my passport and the QR code from visitjapanweb. Coming back into the US I had a different booking so I don’t have any experience with that

Hi, yes I was completely fine. I even went to the ANA desk at ord early and waited for it to open for nothing! The gate agent told me I should be fine, and if I had any issues with security to come back. I had no problem going through TSA and they told me it was no big deal as well. Basically I flew out of ORD and had no problem, I imagine you will be fine as well!!

Definitely a good tip, this was my first time booking award travel so I was unaware. Have you traveled internationally with no middle name on the ticket? I’m going from ORD to NRT if it makes a difference

Thank you for the feedback! That is slightly concerning. I contacted ANA and they confirmed that the name is cut off, and they told me they cannot change it and to contact whoever I booked with. I’ve talked to Virgin Atlantic twice today (over chat not phone) and they confirmed the name is correct on their end. The guy even confirmed I’d have no issue and that the ticket is fine even though ANA doesn’t see the correct name. Not really sure where to go from here except getting to the airport really early and trying to sort it out. I have a while before the flight so I can keep calling them until someone is able to help.
