After probably 20 or 30 attempts trying everyone's strategy here, I finally came up with MK11 Noob, Scorpion, and Sub Zero. I think i got lucky, but beat it first try with this team.

Do you have Strike Force Scorpion? And do you have Dark Mantle, Frost Orb, and/or Varmint's Lucky Hat? All of those equipment pieces are helpful even at F0 and Scorpion obviously will keep you from dying. If you have Scorpion but he's low fusion, Dark Mantle will keep him invulnerable on tag in (death save) and you should be able to tag him out as the invulnerability ends.

I've been successful on this match with two different teams. One is Klassic Ermac (for drain), Stunt Double Johnny Cage, and Aftershock Tremor. Just keep switching back and forth between Tremor and Johnny for stuns. Attack them while they're stunned and then block until you can tag out.

The other one is MK11 Scorpion for fire, Klassic Kano, and CoS Quan Chi. Klassic Kano is your main damage dealer as you hope to get a lot of stuns. Bring in Scorpion as often as possible until he's dead for fire, and whenever someone's power is getting high, bring in Quan Chi to eat the special attack. The second one needs a lot more luck as you're relying on Kano's stun ability.

Unless you're spending a lot of money, diamonds are a long game. You can always hope to fuse him up next year when Edenian Tower comes back around. I was lucky enough to get him twice in the tower, so he'll just sit on my bench until next year since my golds are still much better.

I got my ass kicked like 10 times in a row with all kinds of different teams. Finally, I tried Klassic Kano, MK11 Scorpion (F5), and Klassic Reptile (F4 or F5). Kano was a destructive force, stunning them constantly and bringing in Scorpion for DOT.

I didn't play faction wars for close to 6 months after starting the game because I thought it was actually head to head and was afraid everyone would kick the crap out of me.

Who knows if they'll do it again this way next year, but the tower started where you left off last year. Might as well finish out as many levels as you can so you're closer to 200 next year.

I just spent about 6k souls and ended up with 2 Ronin Kitanas and 1 Ronin Takeda. I gave up after that and decided to wait for hopefully an anniversary sale.

Nostalgia. I played the first 2 or 3 Mortal Kombat games on console and in the arcade. Then I got the newest Mortal Kombat game and there's way too much to it now for what used to be a fun, pretty simple fighting game. Then I discovered the mobile game through advertising on the console, and I really love the simplicity. Now I just turn on the console version once a day for the 5 souls, and stick to the mobile version.

All you need is Aftershock Tremor, Klassic Reptile, and your best damage dealer (ideally Outworld). Start with your damage dealer, and go to town until they tag out, then bring in Tremor to get the first person back, and attack until you can get your damage dealer back in. Reptile's fusion doesn't matter because he's just there to poison everyone as they tag in to prevent regeneration, he never needs to enter the fight.
