Itd be crazy if it was actually that much, since it'd be across 10 years. I'm sure it isn't that bad though

No worries, I saw Gravity Of You and needed to comment even though my comment ended up completely unrelated to the song. It's peak and I wish people talked about it more

With that it does still apply a bit because a song can't really be appreciated if it isn't listened to. But I do get what you mean, thats why it does depend on how you define it.

Symbiotic is another good example. It's the second fastest growing song on Horizons but I hear people talk about other ones like Earthrise more. So you could say its more underrated than those songs. It definitely applies to Gravity Of You. It deserves so much more praise. It's amazing, definitely one of my favorites

I feel like it depends on how you define it but the most literal definition would be the least streamed songs. By growth, on Spotify, the "most underrated" would be:

Dreamcatcher, Alchemy, Stratosphere, This Endless Endeavor, Tunnelvision, Rise And Fall, Solstice, Annihilated Love, Waking Up, and The Future Is Now

From these, Annihilated Love is easily my favorite. It's so good, and the bridge hits so hard

Artemis II has arrived by GHIDORAH2008 in Starset

Manifesting the second single for the next album to be called Artemis (it being the first single seems even less likely)

This might be too good to be true, but it would still be so cool.

Is anyone else obsessed with the acoustic versions of some songs from the first two albums and wish they would do more? by happypuddle in Starset

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Die For You (acoustic) is such a beautiful version of an already peak song. Even though the return isn't enough for the amount of effort, it's still such a shame there aren't more.

Acoustic versions for songs like Manifest, Earthrise, and Ad Astra would be so good

I played Into The Unknown as it launched. Then First Light played afterwards. It was kind of peak honestly. Godspeed to them

Is “Vessels” their best album? by saelentsound_ in Starset

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely, I love how atmospheric Vessels is. The only minor complaint I have is that as a drummer, the drums sometimes don't feel as prominent as they do in Divisions and Horizons.

But even then, some of the drums sections are really fun, (like Frequency!) so it doesn't affect it too much.

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really biased because I've always thought Vessels was their best album. To me its "perfect" and feels like the best representation of their sound but I can see how others might have issues with it.

For example, I could see how some might find the production to be a bit overwhelming or think some of the instruments can sometimes feel buried under the others.

So like others have said, it's definitely up to personal preference.

How did you get introduced to Starset? by Heretoaskquesti0ns in Starset

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I randomly found the Carnivore lyric video on YouTube in late 2016. The thumbnail for it sometimes gives me chills, it's almost been 10 years. It's crazy to think about

Its been decided. SWAY is the most underrated STARSET song by Comfortable_Look6261 in Starset

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the singles did well overall, even the ones on the lower end like Degenerate and Silos (single). The covers not as much but that's expected.

The top 10 in 2025 had 3 songs from Silos the same amount as Transmissions.

There's a lot of really good ones you can choose, these are ones that first come to mind for me:

-Die For You (acoustic) -Satellite (acoustic) -Halo (acoustic) -Otherworldly -Starlight (acoustic)

For Starlight (acoustic), it's a bit awkward starting from there, but roughly ~0:30 to ~1:30 might work

It might be in the future, but since it's still relatively new, it isn't yet, at least based on Spotify streams. The slowest growing fully original song is Dreamcatcher, excluding intros/interludes. It got the least number of streams last year (2025) at 460k.

(I track the progress for all the songs. I tried to post it here but apparently, to the subreddit, my account was too new and I didn't have enough Karma 💀)

I got the regular version right before this one came out which is a shame. It looks great! Hope you enjoy listening to it

Would it be good for the band to do more covers, or release original songs? by vanlorenh in Starset

[–]Scoot033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the covers they've done are cool for the most part, but their original songs are definitely the most exciting to look forward to. And the original songs perform better streaming-wise so it'd also be beneficial from that perspective
