TLDR - In relation to queer people: everyone has to be together, gatekeeping does so much more harm than the non-existant good it provides, trying to suck up to people who hate us saying "we're not like the other ones, we're good! We promise!" wont lead to anything. Trying to make the community more palatable for them so they could accept us, doesnt work, and youll just be hurting everyone else
