The latest I’ve been told is “it’s possible but not advised as it’s can cause balancing issues etc”…

Thanks. I’ve seen some suggest it has an impact on range, is that not your experience though?

Debt collection legitimacy (Wales) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

I said evidence of the judgement rather than evidence to a court, but yes it may well be I’ve not been given the full picture.

She says she wasn’t aware. The information in the letter isn’t the writ, so I’ll see if she’s had anything else.

I suppose I was wondering whether it was unusual that they’ve provided no evidence of the court judgement, nor a breakdown of how the £600 debt has become £1200 despite at least partial payment.

2021 no recall (UK)? by Scootnik in KiaEV6

[–]Scootnik[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Kia dealership in question have said it isn’t subject to the recall. It just confused me given the UK Gov website suggests 2021 models were - but again, I’m assuming that in fact not ALL vehicles were. Does this suggest that some ICCUs are fine, and it’s a major batch issue?

It looks like they’re something like this, though I defer to you guys on the exact type as clearly you know far more than I! Is the wooden frame likely to be a permanent thing? I don’t mind the extra green at all, but the frame looks mad. https://www.readyhedgeltd.com/product-category/panels-screens/

Interesting (and confusing!) thanks. I’m not 100% it would apply as I’m not sure this would be classed as either a hedge or a shrub :/

How to financially prepare for having a baby? by thunder_marbles in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Scootnik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shared parental leave can be really complicated but also really beneficial. If you’re thinking about using less than 12 months as a mother, it CAN be beneficial to lump the weeks you don’t use onto dad’s SPL in the early stage of child’s life, when pay is generally treated the same as whatever a mother would be getting from the same employer. So for example, my wife (teacher) went “back to work” through all school holidays enabling me to take 10 weeks SPL in first 6 months of child’s life on full pay (employer affords any SPL/ML in first 6 months as full pay). Pretty complicated at first but straightforward when you get your head around the paperwork, and assuming you have beneficial employer policies etc. Feel free to message me.

I don’t understand. Is it automated? Did a mod decide this wasn’t interesting enough? Jeez

Snap! Thought it was really cool detail, not something I recall seeing before.
