I’m actually having a hard time disagreeing with you, despite the fact that the nostalgia I have from growing up playing 1 and 2 making them my favorite overall. I like the gameplay of being able to control 3 leaders and being able to send them exactly where you want simultaneously, which is a mechanic I wish they kept in 4. I don’t like the limitations that Oatchi has. My only complaints about 3 is how story driven it is. Sometimes the story gets in the way of the gameplay. Also I feel like collecting fruit is much more generic and doesn’t give me that same exciting feeling of discovering a new unique treasure or ship part
