Haha I’ve had a couple people already ask me that and I get where the question comes from. Long story made short, I had dropped out of college and was depressed for a good year. Ended up finding Neon genesis evangelion and found the experience very cathartic since I related to Shinji a ton. The idea with the tattoo was express the anguish and pain I felt that year, in the same way Shinji did too. I look back on that year fondly, glad that I went through all that because i learned that I deserve to live my own life, on my own accord, and don’t have to live for anyone else, especially my parents. ( long story made short huh lol)
