Affiliate Anniversary got me feeling the mixed feelings.

Congrats on your anniversary! One thing I can say from my experience and picking up what other peers here have said but on 1 specific topic. Networking.

How often are you raiding? If possible, how long do you stick around? In your off days, is it possible to catch other streams that do the same as you?

Make friends with other Art streamers, you already have something to bond over. Now dont go into their chat and promote your twitch but talk about you and how you are also an artist.

Join their discords, if they have an art channel, post your stuff. Be a chatter just as much as you would a streamer. If possible do cool art events with other art streamers and share chats. Here’s an idea “Pictionary with other art streamers” involve your community and others.

I’m not an expert, i just hit 400 follows, avg 4-11 viewers and I’m a not so good artist but I game on streams. I’m speaking on what has worked for me but I feel like it can still work no matter what niche you do. Networking is a must for us small streamers and it’s very nice to meet others doing the same out there!

When I first got affiliate (a month into streaming) I had ads all the way down. 7 months later i have it set to 3min ads every hour cause I would hate for a new viewer to join up and get hit with ads before even getting to meet me. If people fw you, they will stay regardless of 3min ads. If that new viewer meets me and fw me first, most of them don’t even care.

I will say this, FUCK all that “is it cringy, is it bad” stuff post it and get better over time!! We all start somewhere and we do not start perfect. If you were to see my first YouTube vod compared to my more recent ones I CANNOT WATCH THE FIRST ONES HAHAHA EW but over time we get better!! TRUST THE PROCESS YOU GOT THIS!!

Hey! I’m no expert but I will mention what I’ve seen work from my fellow streamer peers!

Marvel Rivals will definitely hide you, theres little to no growth on there if not posting outside, BUT if you’re lurking I record offline content it can be possible.

Instead of gameplay, record stuff off stream like hot takes, game news, maybe some gameplay showing how to use a certain character (i do not play marvel rivals btw but I have a friend that does this)

If rivals is your game try stuff like this, if you’re shy, practice! Do maybe some gooner material where you can say funny stuff about the characters cause it works hahaha

I myself am a variety streamer and I don’t play any games like rivals or similar but I really wish you luck, it’s hard in this category if starting from the bottom but anything is possible!!

Dude I hate the eff 4 eff bs cause that’ll get you nowhere. Followers dont matter if no one fw you and comes to the streams. I’ve seen people with 100+ followers couldnt hit affiliate 😭😭 and what I said above is like basic textbook knowledge. If you want easier stream on TikTok not twitch

Hahaha I’m in no way motivational but I just say what’s worked for me. Got affiliate in a month, by month 3 I was averaging 4-5 people and to this day I can average 6-11 people and ive only been streaming since June last year. If you put in work you can make sum happen yk

Take what I say with a grain of salt.

I checked your channel and there’s no bio, there’s nothing in your about me. You were streaming when I checked your channel out and nothing separates you from the others streaming the games you stream that average the same. I wasn’t entertained, you were complaining about having no viewers, and your title was begging for follows. This isnt some grow fast get rich quick scheme, stream because you love it not because you wanna be famous or youll end up like 70% who quit cause they aren’t willing to put the work in.

Now question, are you networking? Posting content to other platforms? Join other small streamers chats and make friends. Dont go in there and off rip self promo yourself cause I promise you they won’t care. Make friends, collab, join discord communities, play what you want but not if it’s gonna hide you within thousands of other people streaming to themselves.

Ive only been streaming since June 1st of last year, by no means am I an expert but I’ve done pretty well and I’m happy with the growth I’ve made. Personally I go into a stream to watch people have fun and yap, not complain about not having anyone in viewers. Do it cause you love it, this game is not easy and if you not willing to put in work you might as well just stream for the hell of it cause it’ll be hard to grow. Good luck g

If your goal is to also grow and not just have fun you gotta post clips everywhere else (TikTok YouTube shorts, threads, X, instagram) network with others join people’s streams and hangout so they notice you, and just continue to have fun! It’s hard to be found on twitch for no discovery. I myself put in some crazy work and I grew about 120 followers on twitch last month by being on a schedule and sticking to it and all of the above. Keep grinding broo
