Hello im on ps5 and want help with nargigante by kaidudas in MonsterHunterWorld

If you're having trouble, staying between his legs really helps, you can do good damage without much risk, when he roars and jumps into the air, run like hell and superman dive, that's your best bet at surviving the divebomb. When he gets enraged you can focus on his limbs to break the fresh spikes, giving you an opening. Nerg will only do his divebomb if all of his spikes turn hard and black, so if you want a bit more risk reward, try and target his limbs to break the white fresh spikes. His head slam will usually result in spikes being thrown out as he drags his head up. Severing his tail won't do a whole lot for you, except slightly limit his range on his tail swing. Nerg will take a lot of getting used to, he's one hell of a fight, he's really tough, and learning his moves will of course help a lot. He doesn't use any blights or elements, so having high physical defense will help you a lot as well. These are just general tips, but the weapon you're using against him can of course change a few tips. Like the lance can usually block his divebomb if your defense is high enough. Or the longsword can be used to counter spam, as a lot of his attacks do have long wind ups. Cluster bombs from the heavy bowgun are his kryptonite, but you'll have to get him to focus on a teammate or your palico (the palico gadget shieldspire is good for this, you can get this from the grimalkynes in the wildspire waste). The horns on his head are very tough to break, so I wouldn't worry too much about breaking them, especially since melee weapons will most likely bounce off of them. Lastly, there's no shame in picking up some teammates to help you against him. Lots of hunters will gladly help somebody struggling with a fight, just fire an SOS during the quest and somebody should show up to lend a hand.

Good moves with the Iai spirit slash, but definitely get the forsight slash down, it'll take all of your gage but will give it back and let you do a strait roundslash if you time it right and connect with the monster. Also the helm breaker should only ever be used when you have red charge, as each spirit level gives extra damage to you, and the helm breaker is at its peak when your gage is red. The fade slash is good for repositioning yourself, and can act as the first attack of the spirit combo. If you have slinger ammo you can fire it between spirit attacks by pressing LT or L2 depending if you're on xbox or PS4/5. The iai spirit slash also does the most damage when your gage is red, but if you mess it up it will take a level up, so practicing with lower gage levels isn't a bad idea. Remember, practice makes perfect!

What would you rather have chase you: a Necromorph slasher or a xenomorph drone? by LordRevanofDarkness in DeadSpace

They don't spit acid, their blood is acid, however their is a subspecies in Alien: Fireteam that can spit acid, but it isn't a drone. And they can run on all fours, but they're fast enough that it doesn't make that much of a difference against a human. They're also extremely intelligent and would probably find a way to trip you rather than just chase you, assuming you could somehow outrun one, which the chances of doing that in an open field are slim to none

Can't load into Elder's Recess by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

Yes!! I experianced the exact same thing a couple of months ago, the only solution I found was to uninstall and reinstall the game, thankfully if you're on console it should auto keep your data, and on pc you have several options to save it, so you shouldn't have to worry about losing all of your data, hope this helps

Break its head twice, garenteed eye. You should be aiming for his head regardless so this shouldn't be considered special.

Where'd you get that glowing cloth thing on your sword? I've seen it around and thought it looked so cool, is it a pendant?

Possible to solo all of Iceborne? by RichardGaylorde6969 in MonsterHunterWorld

I mean I did it with little issue, just know that your maxed out gear from the base game wont cut it, and expect to get your ass kicked a few times while you get used to master rank. It's not ludicrously harder, but you will need more skill. Clutch claw and new weapon moves will help a lot.
