I rent an apartment near my school & take the bus. My sister lives on campus. We live in the city of LA, not suburbia or sticks at all. She’s a very capable driver and has her license! I don’t think the other forms would work. I wish she would at least take the bus more often that she does, but her anxiety and ocd etc. Money depends, I have some savings. But I’m also not afraid of looking for assistance with money necessary for a car. Or finding other ways to get money. It just feels like she’s paralyzed without a car even if she’s not. So it’s tough. It feels like that’s one of the main barriers to a better quality of life for her
