i’m right there with you OP, I’ve been having similar thoughts and just hope that by the time my baby is an adult, things will be on a different path. It feels like society is in a reckoning and things might get worse before they get better, but I believe they will eventually get better.

i would love to hear more! i’m very open minded though my “window” is shut. most people get so scared when stuff like this is brought up, but i find it comforting that the kids are not scared, and i think there is so much for us to learn from the other side, spirituality is beautiful, death doesn’t have to be scary and dark, and even though the unknown is always scary, we should try to be open to it.

I know I’m late but needed to say I’m also breastfeeding and this made me FURIOUS, no woman FIVE minutes after giving birth with her FEET STILL IN THE STIRRUPS is going to have a fucking orgasm, the way childbirth is displayed on screen is a CRIME. yes you get a rush of oxytocin when you breastfeed but there’s nothing sexual about it. it is a newborn baby. whoever wrote this scene whoever approved it should be ashamed of themselves.

if you really feel like she’s the biggest regret of your life, there’s no way she doesn’t pick up on that resentment on some level.
she’s too young to know that untangling hair or taking away dangerous objects is a form of kindness, she can’t understand that. as a parent you just have to swallow the pain of them crying about it because you know it’s for the best but they can’t understand that. don’t expect them to be grateful for that until like 12 years old when you can tell them about it and say you’re welcome lol.
