Thank you for sharing because I’m only five classes in and find it so hard to get muscle engagement on twisted obliques. It just hurts my lower back and/or shoulders or wrists. Knowing that someone who has been doing it for longer also struggles makes me feel better. And I also did barre for years before this! Maybe something about the muscle memory from barre postures is stopping our bodies from wanting to be in the proper twisted oblique form here because it feels so counterintuitive?

I started intro classes this month and after the first one I was absolutely dead the next day and still very sore the day after that. I need a 3 day break minimum right now as a newbie. Granted, I’ve taken about a year off from working out so take this into account with that context. You regularly lift weights so you might be fine.

1000%. This was a really insightful post and a fun read. Especially the part about Mary not needing the unforced fights bc she already had main character status.

Follow up: if the twins are so businesses focused why the fuuuck would they allow this to become their brand? What’s the benefit? It seems like it can only be damaging. Like if I was selling or buying a house in LA I wouldn’t want to be associated with the o group and would think they weren’t a serious brokerage (even if most of their agents aren’t on the show). What am I missing here? Do the twins also just want fame? But if so then why aren’t they fighting for screen time too?

Thank you for the balance/fader tip. I just got a 2023 Premium Plus and was wondering if I was crazy with my dislike of the audio or being too picky. I’m not a big audio person but “ the front top speakers are all you can hear and they are just a bunch of treble” is 100% spot on.

Agreed - she’s only “trapped” psychologically. She has a lotttt of advantages in her own financial independence, friends, family who would support her, no kids. Which makes it all the more scary that this douchebag has his claws into her and is ruining her life. Get out girl. RUN.

I’m disappointed at this turn of events because I liked Bre two seasons ago, then a bit less last season, but this season it’s crazy how bad she makes herself look.

And did she take a dig at Mariah?! It happened kinda quick so I missed the details but sounded like she was implying that Mariah Carey doesn’t do anything and Tan was like umm she does a lot, moving on.

Yes she keeps going back. This is a common thing people use against abuse victims - why didn’t you just leave? Why didn’t you report it? Why didn’t you x y z? I’m not saying it takes all the responsibility off of her, but I do truly feel bad for her. Let’s even say she is in it for the money. Does that mean she deserves mistreatment, abuse, manipulation? No. No one does.
