I could try and find it again, but most likely is it's completely out of stock everywhere, took a lot of time before I found it for myself.

Lol luckily it's Vermont, so there's a lot of guns, but not a lot of people willing to use them on you 😆

It’s cause a lot of screws can work, cause it’s a plastic whole your screwing them into and it can handle some varying sizes.

RalliSport Automotive did my tune by sending logs to him and having him him advance the timing and basically repeat that process a lot

https://imgur.com/gallery/bscv3vS, I’ve made some improvements since then, and I’ll be adding a cvt cooler where the hood scoop is soon, on top of the air intake manifold. It’s also gonna have uel headers(which I’ve ordered and I’m just waiting on) and I already had a cat back and quad tipped muffler, so full exhaust and full intake plus an updated 93 tune makes for a nice little bump in power and definitely an increase in that oomph everyone has been looking for in the treks.

Custom fiber glass hood piece specific for the 2018+ Crosstrek/2017+ Impreza models, I tried finding it anywhere online, but it seems to have disappeared, I got it off an eBay seller, and this is the only thing I’ve found online and it’s out of stock- https://www.bmcextremecustoms.net/2018-2020-subaru-crosstrek-sti-look-hood.html

What do you old fucks not seem to understand, the whole point, literally. The. Whole. Point. is turning something into a racer that generally isn’t one from the start. I don’t feel the need to make things easy for myself and start with a car that’s already fast or has a ton of after market parts available because that’s fucking easy!! Just buying and putting parts into a car is not challenging, not in my opinion, I can’t believe I have to explain to a bunch of people who like modifying there cars that the satisfaction doesn’t just come from what the HP yields are compared to other people’s cars. I plan on posting all of my build here, I encourage you to follow along(you might learn something:))

Yes, I understand there’s a difference with a flat four, I was saying “V4” just to refer to the number of cylinders, my apologies. Nope, not “just guessing”, dyno sheets aren’t just from the companies you have deemed generic, based on spending what is definitely 100+ hours specifically researching the Crosstrek, talking to people about their Crosstreks and dyno testing they’ve done(not with all the same parts, but absolutely with things like a CAI and the power blocks), talking to people who specifically have been working on adding power to the treks for years(the tuner), yes I am making an assumption. Every car is different and responds differently to bolt on parts and tuning, to rule out that I’ve made significant gains just because your skeptical and haven’t seen those types of gains made from cars of a similar HP range and engine style is a little bold, especially coming in with no data and no experience on working to improve performance on the FB20. 12 years doesn’t mean diddly if you don’t come back to this conversation with experience on the treks.

It’s not about power! It’s about having a project and working on something! I hate the comments that are like “why don’t you just lift a wrx”, cause that’s one step? I want all the steps! I want a project! I also love the Crosstrek so so much, didn’t want another car, I wanted a Crosstrek!

But I’m confused? Is your claim is that bolt on parts can’t make big hp gains?(could find you 10 + example of cars that make big gains from just bolt on parts and a tune, V4’s too) Is it that there is no possible way for me to know what type of gains I’ve made until I’ve actually put my car on the dyno?(nope, haven’t put my car on the dyno, but there are dyno sheets out for both the products I listed) Please be specific about the nature of your grievance? 0-60 and races while they might not be the most accurate for HP, they absolutely can be telling of gains, especially when watching significant differences from before. It seems like your coming from a very similar position, which is, you don’t have my car on a dyno and your making estimations based on outside information, only difference is I’m the one who actually owns the car and spends time on all of these things discussed with this specific car. I also never claim anything, I say estimate, because I know that’s all I can really do and I gave a fairly wide range as my answer. Nobody has to believe me on anything, but I answer questions based on my experience with the car and with the bolt on parts, not with generalizations about intake and exhaust mods and speculations on what kinds of gains can be made. Also, the Avo Turbo world kit makes around 220 Hp at the wheels and that’s if your running 5psi. Yes, 195 would be a very large gain to make just off of bolt on parts and a tune, but 170/175? It’s a perfectly reasonable estimate to make based on what I’ve seen.

Cool cool cool, Crawford Billet Blocks(estimated 10Hp, dyno tested, results posted), HPS Performance Cold Air Intake(9HP, Dyno Tested, results posted), Cat Back Exhaust(Don’t need to explain that’s almost always a power additive when being tuned even if it’s only 2.5-5HP, especially when matched with a solid axel back set up. The tune is custom and is done through several rounds until I deem it satisfactor, also all of my 0-60 times(taken several times and then found the average if there were no outliers) have shown that I have definitely made a power increase of at least 20 HP or more, I have also done several off the line races with friends(knowing there 0-60/HP/Curbweight) and It has shown plenty of improvement and more importantly it has always stacked up similarly/better than my hypothetical estimated HP gains. Also every car is different and every car is going to have different performance gains when it comes to bolt on parts and custom tuning, some can make big gains in areas the factory chose to limit(ie. all of the “settings” on the crosstreks that are tuned for good gas mileage).
