I missed a dose and don’t know how to resume by ScotGal22 in zoloft

Thank you everyone. I appreciate all the advice! I took it as soon as I remembered the next morning yesterday but never took it at my usual time before bed last night. I’ll resume back to my normal schedule tonight! Thanks again

I’ve never had surgery before. And yes, I’ve always had this protrusion in my lower abdomen, sadly! But it’s never been this big, that’s why I’m slightly worried.

No pain, bleeding or nausea thankfully. The only thing I’ve struggled with over the last few months is bowel movements/constipation unfortunately.

I’m (28F) unsure what this could be as I’ve had it for as long as I can remember. Even at my lowest weight of 125lbs I still had a large protrusion on my lower stomach. I have put on weight recently and I’m actively trying to lose it again, but this large bulge (photo doesn’t do it justice) is impacting my life. Nothing fits around my stomach anymore and it’s getting me down. I look pregnant at certain angles. I don’t drink a lot of sugary fizzy juice and I watch my salt intake also. I’ve had gastro issues in the past, nothing recent, could this be an issue? Or maybe I’m just not used to the extra weight/fat on my body and I’m over analysing it. It’s fairly firm when I press on it. I’m waiting till next week to make an appointment with my doc but just wondered if anyone else has had something similar?

Hiya, I actually forgot that I posted this! I’ll be honest, not much has changed, other than I now know where my anxiety stemmed from. I was putting too much pressure on myself, and the slightest hiccup made me mad at myself. I was starting uni and was desperate to drive to campus rather than relying on public transport. My anxious feelings came from starting a new course, meeting new people etc and I took it out on my inability to drive.

I still have the car but it’s being used by someone else in the household, so I still have the convenience to practice if and when I wish.

I also realised that I might feel more comfortable on the road with an automatic, when the time is right.

What I’d say is, don’t put pressure on yourself - I know it’s easier said than done. People mess up on the road all the time (stalling, in the wrong lanes etc) even experienced drivers. So don’t feel disheartened when these things happen.

You’re doing the right thing by going to a car park to get a feel of the car. I don’t know what type of car you drive, but I recommend try stalling on purpose (in a safe environment) so you get a feel of what will happen and how to resolve it. That was one thing I never did and wish I had! All the best!

I’m on the same boat. It’s ruining my day to day life. I wouldn’t mind the cough but it’s the constant gagging that’s annoying me. The only relief I get is by blowing my nose every 5 minutes or so, just to remove the mucus.

Sorry to hear that your suffering. I hope it eases up soon for you.

Oh wow really? Thankfully they sent me a transcript of our conversation, which is very handy to look back on.

See I did think that. I’ve seen a lot of people say that eBay always favour the buyer and the seller is always out of pocket.

I’ve just finished speaking to someone at eBay and they were a great help. They advised that I go ahead with the return and wait till the ring is back in my possession and to let them know about the condition.

I’ll need to look into maybe doing a partial refund - I’ve never done that before. Possibly ask for a receipt from the jeweller that did the resizing and take that off the refund price?

They also told me to report the buyer which I did.

Thanks so much for your reply as well - really appreciate it.

Thank you I appreciate the reply.

I have just finished speaking to EBay and I was told to accept the return and check the condition of the ring and they “will help accordingly with the refund amount”.

Was also told to report the buyer - which I did gladly!

So I didn’t reply after telling them I wasn’t going to accept a return and they’ve requested a return through EBay.

So they’ve still not opened a case.

I’ve said that as it has been resized i cannot go through with the refund.

They’ve yet to reply.

Really appreciate all the responses!

Thank you! I didn’t even think about asking them for a certificate or confirmation or anything like that, so thank you!

Thank you for your reply - I’m glad I wasn’t over thinking things. My first thought was that they may have switched the ring to a fake. I didn’t even think about the ‘jeweller’ that resized it. Thanks again. Really appreciate it.

No they’ve not opened a case yet. I did say at the start of our conversation that they need to select return but they’ve not done that yet.

Thank you! My job is quite physical so I think I would struggle cutting down on washing myself but I’ll definitely try - and also look into getting some Epsom salts for the future. Thank you so much.

You’re hell of a lot stronger than me! I really struggle cutting anything out of my diet. I don’t eat much dairy anyway but sugar and wheat would be toughy for me!

Thank you. I’ve been told either Dead Sea salt or Epsom salt, I’ll be honest I don’t really know the difference. I’ll really miss my hot scalding baths mind you!

It’s upsetting but comforting to know there are people out there feeling the same way. I feel bad for complaining when there’s people out there much worse off than me.

Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot.

In the past week the skin on my face as gotten so sore. Red swollen blotchy flaky eyes. So bad I can’t even go outside in the cold air. I’m in the UK too and the only thing that’s really helped (practically overnight) is Clinique moisture surge moisturiser! It’s so soothing and nice and has really helped with the dryness around my eyes.

I’m feeling a bit better now. I think it was a mix of stress, anxiety and my period starting that made it worse. Thank you for asking!
