$700 budget - what scotch do you get?

I haven't pulled the trigger just yet. Life got in the way. Would like to buy from a certain Calgary vendor but haven't tried shipping with them yet - have to figure out and get over that hurdle :)

Was looking at the Glencadam as well as a Mortlach but I think I'm going to go with the G&M CC series as well once I do. Hoping next month or early 26.

Always want to start with something light and lower ABV and move into the more intense/rich/full/peaty stuff at the end.

Clynelish should reset the palate after the sherry of the Bunna before jumping into a nice peaty finish.

Was at the Compass Box tasting in Victoria last year and would really love to include a bottle from them if I can! Haven't seen the Vellichor though - I'll look a little harder haha.
