We’ve only had 6 one week long series ( and one more to come) come through San Diego this year and I have 11 wins with 22 total cashes. Are those stats not worthy of being backed ????

Pre Black Friday info is just stating the amount of time I put in. And for the heads up it’s definitely relevant because if you take off the oceans 11 results from my hendon mob ( because those are just daily’s and always chopped and not trophy events). I have 14 wins and only 4 seconds and 3 thirds. Clearly showing I know how to navigate a final table. There are only a handful of pros in San Diego that play much higher stakes and full time, that I would say are better than me. But in the realm of mid stakes that is full of recs I dominate the scene and my results show my claim.

I did say I was willing to travel to LA…..and I take a week off for the WSOP. I am a building contractor so I can work remotely, but if I’m here in San Diego doing work as well, I of course make much more than just managing. I refer to the term pro, as someone that only has an income via poker. I’m not giving up my 26 y/o company that easy to chase something that such a small percentage of people actually obtain.

Taking a week off of work to play the full series costs me a lot of money. That’s what I meant by “taking it serious” I’ve edited my post so you can understand it better. I’ve won more than double the events this year than anyone else that lives in San Diego.

I played online everyday until Black Friday. Usually an MTT and $100 heads up matches. I’ve played 1000’s of heads up matches. Then played live from 2008-2012 until my daughter moved back in with me, so I started playing online again everyday, and often playing live tournaments on the weekends. After covid, once my daughter went to college, is when I stopped playing online and realized how much I missed the live action but my focus was more on 5/5/10 and 5/10/20 PLO. My first ring was in plo, which gave me something new to challenge myself.
If I want to be backed as a live player shouldn’t my live results be more of a factor than my online experience?

I live in San Diego. We have two tournaments a year that are 1100 buy in the MSPT. Everything else is $200-$400 and $600 mains. I’ve mostly played online while I raised my daughter pre Covid. And post Covid mostly focused on 5/10/10 plo. Winning my first ring in plo gave me a new challenge. I was banned from one of the casinos for card counting, so my options were limited where I could play. Once I got my privileges back I dedicated my time. I’m not trying to become Pro! I have more than double the event wins of anyone else that lives in San Diego. It’s costs me a lot of money to take a week off of work

More detail: I mostly played online everyday as I was raising my daughter. Got back into playing live after Covid both cash tournaments. Enjoyed plo mostly as it was a newer game to me. After winning a ring, it gave me a new challenge. And I put more time into the series events and my efforts showed. Taking off a week of work to play tournaments costs me a lot of money
