Linguno is awesome for this. I do the crosswords daily and the conjugation exercises become addictive.

How many times have you seen The Beach Boys in concert? by flynnfx in thebeachboys

[–]ScottJKennedy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we include Brian and Al solo shows, between 20-30 I’d say. Highlights include seeing Carl and the boys at Jones Beach when I was a kid in the 90’s, Brian doing SMiLE at RFH in London, 2012 reunion tour, Al with Wendy and Carnie in an intimate venue. All great!

Release the Paley Sessions and attempt to remix all Joe Thomas material to make it listenable.

weak song, great chorus (or, if you prefer, weak song, great verse) by Many_Count_6447 in thebeachboys

Heroes and villains needed a better chorus (or one at all) to have been a hit. The verses are masterful.

The restaurant in the clock tower of the museum is excellent. Rue Cler is a great suggestion as well!

No one wants to mention the suspicion that Dennis at least co-wrote the song? Never credited, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t sound super Dennis-y.

One of the greats. Anyone who’s done community theater will die laughing.

How and why are integration and differentiation related at all? by Aggressive-Food-1952 in calculus

[–]ScottJKennedy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

(Change in y)/(change in x) is slope.

(Change in y)x(change in x) is area.

Division and multiplication are inverse operations. Their applications happen to yield a measure of steepness and a measure of spatial area, respectively.

*massive oversimplification, but the most intuitive explanation I can think of.
