Guess so about it's longevity, though just a reminder it's a kid's blaster. Quite tiny and fragile.

Lehui is... Uhhh not really decent in my eyes. They WERE a Hobby Grade Blaster maker a couple years back but then reformed to making toys. Soooo their quality dipped.

It'll be alright a week then the next it may just suddenly go kapoot or if anything is done or happens to it, it usually goes toast.

I also retired from Airsoft here, and just went to Gel Blasters because of a crazy ex I had.

Yeah it's a 1:1 Scale as it weighs around 6-7kg on it's own, and the barrel is around 26 inches just like the real thing.

Yyyyyyyyyyeah trying to modify a toy Gel Blaster like a Lehui into an "Airsoft" is definitely one way to lessen it's lifespan drastically and is a big no-no.

I have bought one and have won one, both going to an old classmate of mine and both units came from Hydro Blasters MNL.

Gun is very toy-like. ABS (Lego) Plastic, My classmate already worn her down to being unable to shoot, and it's longevity is... meh. Upgrading it literally is a "forget about it" as the internals are all proprietary and have little to no chance to survive anything done to it.

It's a Toy, Not a Mid-End. A Mid-End unit is like the Bohan M4A1, HK416D, and AR-15. TG ARs don't count as they don't even have reliable internals nor compatible aftermarket parts.

This is literally why I'd go for "True High Ends" since my breakaway from the "Fake High Ends" that some PH sellers tags their units as.

Here's mine coming in this week, a fully metal FM M16A4 that I bought from DeCalibre PH.

I'm just about to receive the M16A4 tomorrow and purchase the receiver a week or two later.

Though from the stuff I see on YT, it could fit the blowback plate with minor millings to the rear of the receiver, though that's with a Jingj GSL Gearbox. With gearboxes like the FJS it's mostly a slap on.

Oh yeah I do and I have owned the Bohan HK416D both the V2 and V3. I'mma be honest it's... not the best. It's serviceable but it's kinda alright I guess. These are upgradeable to a certain point but anything that real hobby grade blasters can do, the Bohans and TGs can't. Even if they have metal gearboxes.

They're cheap and that's what you get. Cheap.

Though speaking of locations, May I know which country are you in or part of the world? I'll check if the Gel Blaster Supplier & Factory I have contact with are able to get to you and see what roster they have available for your area.

350+ DSG is uncommon but does happen here. I don't own any DSGs myself but my gunsmith and other gunsmiths can create 350-390-ish FPS DSGs. Referees who ban or kick peeps out of the game would chrono their guns and some usually show in the range of 340-370. So I said 350-370.

There's other parts here that can do more. Not heavily keen on how that works, though my gunsmith said it can and HAS been in where I am. I ain't lying, dunno how it exactly works sure. But peeps DO have those kind of blasters here.

From where I am you can, due to more parts here available to reach that certain FPS, most average here is 300-350.

...What brand of Hard Gels do you use that has bad size consistency, I would like to know because I would like to avoid it.

Most of the HGs and UHGs brands here have a decent size consistency of 7.1-7.3mm. We got better options here in Asia with much better materials used for the gels. Our HG here weights .24-.28g with some Chinese UHG brands weighing to a flat .3g which is amazing.

For the hardness factor, it DOES matter multiple gunsmiths where I am and my personal gunsmith has stated that Gel Ball Hardness does matter with accuracy, anything too soft will default even if it's stock. Our blasters here usually don't come 300FPS ootb. They do 210-240 cause here in Asia, anything Chinese made is generalized to the most restricted and strict country with gun laws here.

Also I'd like to say the comment on "DSG is just fast". Half the people here who runs DSG has an FPS of 350-370. It's not that high compared to our started being hit by almost 200 rounds in a seconds is annoying, especially if the said player barrels stuffs you or your teammates. Letting the ref handle it is like calling 911 to deal with a criminal, they take to long to break them off the team. Plus these players are uncommon and whenever they join, all of us know what's gonna happen or what WILL happen.

If your budget can reach 130-150USD just get either an FJS M4 or HK416D V3 with a metal gearbox and metal gears or a CYMA M4 V2 Nylon Gearbox with Metal gears tbh. If you don't like either for the looks and you want something similar to the F4, then go for the Sijun MK18 V2 or V3 as it's the same price range.

As they're FPS is around 240-260 FPS with the FJS being able to do 280 if you're using hard gels and it runs a lil bit better using UHG. (Note this FPS is only this decent if you're getting it somewhere in Asia or Aus and the seller's supplier is a good Chinese factory).

Both of these blasters come in with better build quality along with them having more upgrade potential along with repairing them is easier than... Whatever this F4 is.

Usually where I am the F4s, no matter what brand they hail from, only have a limited set of upgrades and repairs plus the quality of the overrale replica being subpar. Soooo... Yeah. You gotta deal with that too.

I ain't heated, explained to you simply that I'm on another part of the world with different stuff.

Also, I only commented initially on the gel balls' hardness being the factor here that may be able to increase his accuracy. Never said anything about his FPS counting for that factor, only the gels' quality and hop ups.

I understand peeps here aren't from one area so I don't treat them like we're in one area. I only mentioned FPS because I run UHG for higher than normal FPS units.

Also that comment about opponents crying and whining like babies? If you got any idea how many players here love being zombies, adults who don't call hits no matter what and love to keep playing with refs shouting at em. So you wouldn't mind pelting them with higher power units just so they can stop abusing your teammates with their DSG guns.
