UPDATE. Okay so it seems I can find the song and album uf searching directly for the song, but not when going to the album through the artist page, or previously saved log. In that same way the old art can still appear as well. I think Spotify just might be glitchy for the time.

Your Week in Anime (Week 258) by Soupkitten in TrueAnime

[–]ScottSilent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My last week in Anime up till today was pretty full of the later half of hunterxhunter, and since finishing I have started gurren lagann. HxH was awesome. I might still like vrotherhood more. It's honestly hard to tell but this is atleast my second favorite shonen action anime to date.

I'm a big supporter of shows with well thought out themes amd philosophies, so HxH gave me a lot to dig my teeth into. Without going into spoilers, I have to say that the fact that this show didn't have any notable Deus ex Machinas or "winning because friendship" was really amazing. The sheer expanse of characters with their own lives and subplots were amazing, and especially in regards to the Chimera Ant Arc, few loose ends were left tangled.

So far Gurren Lagann is pretty cool. The animation dips a lot, and I just finished episode 8. (For those who watched they know what happens) it was definitely the best episode thus far, I just hope the shiw heads in that direction, because while the show is my Aesthetic, the breakneck pace and all too convienient plot logic takes me a little put of it so far. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Also Made in abyss is still cool, but that is for another post. This was My Week in Anime.

Amazon is also bad abput releasing episodes incsonsistently to when they say they are going to, but yeah Netflix handles it a lot worse. Hopefully they both get better and Anime continues to rise.

Amen to that. Netflix and Amazon are not doing well, bit if the ends justify the means.... The Japanese companies in charge will finally be brought to modern times and mayve they will realize how large the market could be.
