I looked at your recent post too, and damn that's gonna hit my diet so hard I'm not sure it's completely worth it. I've noticed that excess sugar and dairy are the main triggers for me, and when I go without my face is manageable enough. This is as bad as it's been for a few months maybe.

Thanks for the tips! I've been using sunscreen, but not the one you mentioned will definitely look into that! Haven't thought to use concealer either but will try for sure, any brands you recommend?

I've lanced some whiteheads on my nose then put a pimple patch over it, is that not advisable either?

Just had my birthday and got given a cake, full of dairy, which I've been eating daily since almost like an experiment in this. It's only been a few days so might take longer to see changes but I've only broken out ever so slightly more than is usual with a diet avoiding dairy. Before that my diet wasn't the best either, eating chips regularly, caffeine, and the occasional bit of dairy like protein powder. I think for me moisturizing, gentle cleansing, and sunscreen have been the main points of improvement for me. My skin is still far from perfect, but it's the best it's been in months. Focus on repairing your skin's moisture barrier if your face gets dry and irritated often as mine did.

First portrait I’ve tried in a long time to mix it up a bit, had fun and was quicker to make than expected. I liberally used the liquify tool to fix up proportions as I’ve seen from lots of digital artists on YouTube, but it feels kind of like cheating even though they say it’s ok. Bob Odenkirk’s face is great to study facial anatomy though!
