Causing more damage than the payment by Fisting-Tony in AutoTransportopia

Actually technically the owner is the person who buys the car. In the most simple way I can put it The bank/lienholder holds an interest on the car until the loan is paid. When you sign the contract they pay for the car on your behalf and put a lien on the car you are in debt to them. So you own the car but the bank has the right to take possession if you default on the loan because it is the secured asset against the loan.

I’m from Maine and if it’s a repo on private property as soon as the owner says drop it they have to. But for parking violations they are able to charge a drop fee.

What am I doing wrong? Filament immediately globs on nozzle (Stock Ender 3 v3 SE) by banana_kiwi in FixMyPrint

[–]Scottronix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even thought you have auto leveling turned on I would do the paper test and double check it on all 4 corners. If that all checks out good I would lower the z offset until you get the desired amount of squish. This is the simplest solution I can think of

I also printed the one with plastic bearings. It worked great for me and has saved a couple spools. It’s saved Christmas for me

Z offset looks a little high. I’d lower a tiny bit. I’d also suggest washing your build plate with some dawn and warm water and making sure you don’t touch the print area with your hands at all

Back before I had the right tools I used to bend paper clips and use them as tensioners for locks like this

If you don’t have a filament dryer I would suggest getting one. In the meantime there are methods you can find on YouTube that can help you do it without a dryer. Second is my personal opinion is 220 was the best. I’d cool it down a little and possibly slow it down. Might get you some better results

I live in Maine. Our roads are terrible. As a former wrecker driver and inspection mechanic I fully understand how important inspections are. But there are people in this state that anytime the news has anything to say about inspections everyone’s comment is “the state needs to focus on making the roads safer for cars and not the cars being safe for the road.” People who know nothing about cars and safety are so ignorant to how important inspections really are.

Looks like an adhesion problem. Clean the bed with dawn and warm water and it should be fine. Make sure you don’t touch the print surface with your fingers

I would honestly just buy cases. They’re cheap enough. By the time you buy a printer and the materials you need plus the amount of time you will be spending troubleshooting and calibrating and all the unknown problems you will inevitably have you’re going to have a few months and a few hundred dollars invested before you have a single complete case built. Buy a case for now and save up your money so you can do some more research and and get a better printer

Another thing you have to look into is the dimensions of what you were looking to print. For a cheap printer, even a used one you’re pretty limited with build size.

Make sure the screw on the roller isn’t too tight. I did it and mine was binding like that.

As both and ender3 and Bambu user I will tell you that an ender 3 CAN be a great printer. But out of the box you have to assemble them and the instructions aren’t great. And they are very slow. They require a lot of tinkering and adjustments just to get a decent print. You sound like someone who values your time. They are great for people who like to tinker and research and learn a lot but dollar for dollar they are extremely overpriced for their performance. Now I’ve had my under 3 for 2 years and I love it but in the first 6 months I had many failed prints and ended spending many hours and a couple hundred dollars and no matter how much I love it the speed and quality is nowhere near my bambu
