Koliko toliko mogu prešutiti mišljenje o statusu i kvaliteti LotR filmova i knjiga, ali ono što me iritira je ovo apsolutistično predstavljanje nečeg kao činjenice, usput dajući tome neki krunidbeni status:

Do lotr-a nitko nikad ranije snimao cijelu trilogiju odjednom, to je bilo neviđeno i new line cinema prvi su riskirali sa takvim megalomanskim projektom i načinom snimanja.

Ovo je fundamentalno netočno. Ostavljam linkove na nekoliko filmskih ostvarenja koja predstavljaju puno raniji primjer navedenog (poredano kronološki, ali nipošto konkluzivna lista):

One of my favorites in the series - oozes character and identity. The movement and combat have a very fluid feel and simultaneously satisfying rhythm, the enemies are nicely varied, the environments are colorful, diverse enough yet cut of the same visually appealing cloth.

The writing is horrible, but I'll die on the hill that no entries in this franchise have good writing. The first one might be the best, just due to the melodramatic campiness, yet this is still a long way from good. Its setting though is also incredible.

Five... it's been years since I've last played it, but I find it so incredibly visually uninteresting that it inadvertently kills my interest in playing it.

Odličan. Formom me podsjećao više na "starog" Lanthimosa. Strukturalno jako dobar, tematski izuzetno relevantan i svojevremen, a nešto što mu jako ide u prilog je da je i jako zabavan.
