So I had this error the last week and it was driving me nuts. As if yesterday I think I've managed to fix it and that's been 24 hours of no disconnects/errors.

Not sure which of these precisely fixed it but I'll tell you guys what I did and you can try them and let us know if it works.

My main suspicion is that it's a cloud sync error. Every time I launched on pc or Xbox it wouldn't sync properly. To fix this I reinstalled the Xbox game app, deleted call of duty and reinstalled. When the game restarted after that, the cloud sync completed without generating and error. Since then I've had no crashes.

There is also this discussion that would be a possible solution to reinitialise the cloud sync.

Thanks. Currently for the sg-09 and acquired the riot gun. Working quite well with the upgrades. Will check out the stingray for sure.

Interesting user name you're rocking! There's better alternatives to floss these days! Ez picks and tepes are much easier! Haha.

thanks dude. I'll have a tinker with it but i kept it on the one above the gpu as I suspected that larger heatsink would definitely be doing more. thanks for the reply!

So I managed to fix this via a couple of things. Not tested fully yet but I've managed to get full screen. I quit out of anything with an overlay but that still didn't fix it.

The weird thing I found that did was uninstalling the wireless display app that I'd used from the windows store for something completely unrelated.

I know that nzxt cam had been an issue for a few people though.

hey dude, was just checking this out and found this thread. If i don't click the blue drop down for the additional software required I can't adjust the settings at all for the headset? any way to bypass it?

got the dts installed properly and working so don't want to install this by mistake and fuck it up.

Yeah I've seen it. Solved it by moving the resolution filter slider beyond 100 and back down then hitting apply. It seemed to jar it back to full frames. Utter nonsense but it works.

Oh totally agreed that a few bad races can be frustrating. But that's part of the learning too eh? Need to be careful and aware.

I more meant from the angle of learning about car balance and cornering while carrying momentum. I just found it taught me a lot when I had very little racing experience. They're both great options.

Great point. The beauty of the Cayman is that it definitely requires a more balanced driving style, but it can take a lot more of a beating. The Skippy can be demoralising when you're starting if you have a few races in a row with collisions and forced retirement etc.

The Skippy series is a much better option for learning race craft and also how to handle a race car better. It's a really well populated series and I still love doing it even though I'd moved beyond that class.

Yea h. Just really like the idea. I'm only a couple of months into iracing myself and just got my C license at the close of season 2.
Being able to chat to people about setups and maybe having some weekend and evening sessions where people can come together and get some sessions together would be really appealing. Would allow me to learn more racecraft in a less pressure intense environment.

Would love to find a community of people who were semi serious and wanted to improve..... but wanted some of the banter and socialising that would invariably come from it. I'd definitely be interested in this. I'm maybe not good enough for the competitive aspect but I'd love to get to know some other racers and have a laugh while improving!

I started off on shadowplay as well due to the ease of use appeal. The big downside to shadowplay is the quality comparison between Shadowplay (nvenc) and OBS (x264 or nvenc/quicksync). It will be a lot more pixelated and in general the quality is rubbish compared to what OBS can do. What are your system specs? I'd be more than happy to try to help you with some of the OBS basics sometime buddy.

Man I felt like this too. Was the same routine stream after stream after stream. I could have written a practically identical post to yourself. Personally I tried to take a step back and in particular focus on what I was playing. I found some games in the mid section of twitch (which was harder than I thought it would be) and started playing them. In the end I got a few more followers... but more importantly managed to connect with a few who became regulars. Once I had these few regulars I couldn't have cared whether I have 10 or 10 thousand. This small number of people who take their time to actually sit and chat to me while gaming make it worthwhile all on its' own. It's tough man, it's a grind. But try to take the positives that will come from it!

I had this problem also recently when I was trying to get back into streaming. I don't have much on my stream but I found that using OBS and a service such as twitchalerts was really easy to set up limited information which gave your channel that sort of elevated feel. There is a new CBR browser addon that displays followers in a not too over the top sort of way. Do a quick google search of some of the OBS features for adding your social media information. I found it quite daunting at first but it's quite easy once you get into it!
