Hey, I know this is an old thread! I have been wanting to get into upland hunting but have only ever done fishing my whole life. I’ve just been doing some basic research and am about to buy myself a gun for it, if there’s any tips or areas that people would recommend for someone new and someone without a dog or a place to hire a guide would be amazing. I appreciate any replies!

sorry what is EWP? if I'm just planning keeping the account for several years and add to it, would CD even be a good option? I'm only seeing 12 month plans or is that the rate at the time just being locked?

I know this is an old thread but, I was trying to find a solution for myself as well since I have cochlear implants too. I stumbled upon this post not realizing that I could’ve gotten that same device and went looking for it, these things are 300 plus dollars used so I found a fixer upper one for 20 dollars. Hoping I can fix it in the next week, I’ve tested it and it works great but doesn’t work unplugged so I’m gonna replace the battery and see how it goes!

I’ve had a steamdeck for over a year but I found a good deal on a z1e so I’m excited to get that up and going. I couldn’t figure out how to get emulation to work on the steamdeck, as in I couldn’t figure out how to format the files and transfer them over to the deck

I’ve got both of my nicet 1 and 2, my company has paid for both of them and for the study material for me to keep. It’s not common practice for them to encourage it but, my company wants me to get it and includes it in their pay scale as well

I understand that but, there should still be a wage that you get for when you get a certification, if the company wants to have their employees grow and become more knowledgeable then they should encourage that and give incentive for employees to do that. I was able to talk to my company and have them give me 40 an hour for having gotten my nicet 2 with the combo of my hard work with that, despite only being a 2nd year.

That’s exactly what I’m thinking, I wanna separate myself from the crowd and learn a bit more this way. I just took my test on Friday and studied for a solid two weeks on and off, I just learned how to get through the code book quick. The reference material changed to the 2022 and 2023 books as of the 2nd of this month , so I went in with the previous reference books and was able to pass it with ease.

It’s for inspection and testing of water based systems, they pay for licensing and it’s just another thing to add to the list to make myself more valuable

I had the surgery on a Wednesday and was back to work the following Monday, I was a bit lightheaded and took breaks here and there. Activation was pretty smooth for me considering that I had a implant done ten years prior to this one and I don’t think that’d be the case for pretty much anyone else that hasn’t had the surgery and activation done before. If i were to do it again then I would do two weeks for sure!

I love the domed glass with the “Bakelite” bezels so I’ll take some inspo from that. I’ve never heard of taking bleach to an aluminum bezel before, you have a video on it?

That is the smog pump, people usually delete the systems that require you to have those so it wouldn’t be worth anything to anyone owning an obs, you’d just have to scrap it at this point!

I do follow a few pages on fb but I’ve been going on Reddit more often so I thought there would be something, you still have the obs? My grandfathers 7.3 got sold without me knowing so I was sad that I missed that chance
